Testing testing
I have some tasty fries that need eating now so good night again.
Early attempt to introduce themselves to the thread.
It’s not like RP’ing is AI, but clogging up your Iso with nonsense feels wolfy, even if it’s early on.
And deliberately not doing anything or providing any content or discussion.
Might need to ask them to elabourate on this.
Seems like a wolfy attempt to appear like they know things. When questioned they dropped the act pretty much immediately and dissapeared. Would a town do that?
Corrected for them.
Copied from May directly. Probably a joke. Still kinda just fluff posting and not much else in this iso tbh.
If Jaiden’s a wolf then idk what this is.
I don’t even know what of make of it.
Are they claiming they actually do something? If so they should really elabourate, but they earlier implied they only “slept soundly” and didn’t do anything. Why does this just feel like open-wolfing.
Lets kill them
No Jaiden is scummy, but i expect mafia to buss him, i want to see who believes on that flip and who is bussing for cred.
If they were gonna get bussed the people who pivoted to killing Jaiden are likely to be the ones doing it
Such as?
You know I hate to say it but in a vaccum, I want to say Leafia.
The reason is benign enough. it gives them an extra day of living, right?
It’s just delaying the inevitable 50/50 between them and May.
You’d think by bussing a quiet Mafia like Jaiden they can push May first or let may save themselves or literally anything- anything better than doing the 1f1
True. If i was town I’d want to resolve the thunderdome
So do I, but I also want to be right. I’ve pushed Jaiden for ages and I can’t stand waiting.
But Leafia has been nothing but survivalist
hmm…
What if we had the PR wolf in the thunderdome right now?
You mean Jaiden/you?
That’d be nice. I could die in peace.
How do you know it’s just one though?
VOTE: Jarek
People have been talking about how scumsided this set-up is so I find it hard to believe that mafia needs much more “power” so why would they be given any more than one, if they even have one.
And it makes sense to me. The PR could be anything to me - I would guess it has something to do with information and would help a fake-claim out or helped them sus out claims or something that justifies bussing a regular ass mafia goon for the role they’re keeping.
While I wait, I’ll just start at the beginning of my list. My rough progression:
-
Leafia was a super low poster in Morbtainado and took a major backseat to literally everyone else leading the conversation. Having offered original opinions in the following posts made me TR her early because it was so drastically different from that playstyle I was familiar with in the singular game we played together, and the fact that I had a game with her as wolf made me interpret that as my “top townread”. I explain this initial read further in my post elaborating upon Atlas’s request.
-
Upon thinking about it further, I realized my metaread was… bad. Not good. Leafia took a backseat in the Morbtainado game because Achro was powerwolfing extremely hard, and without such a powerwolf around, obviously Leafia’s behavior would be different - in fact, having seen Achro’s effectiveness last game, she’d be more likely to try to manipulate the conversation as much as she could.
-
After having written her off for a while because of that townread, I went back to look over her posts and spotted a lot of interaction with O kazo specifically - she initially TRed him because of his attention-grabbing post, but consistently left room for a vote in a way that felt super W/V to me.
-
I also wanted to rule out or prove several possibilities I had come up with this game, specifically being 1. that the DirectorHail flashwagon was started by a wolf Neon (or encouraged by a wolf someone else) or 2. that O kazo was deliberately taking both sides of a V/V Zorvo and SK fight (he had repeatedly commented that if one flipped town, the other had to be wolf), so I pushed an O kazo information execution to narrow down the possible worlds. Those worlds were both significantly reduced in possibility to me by the flip (which is why I discarded them and now SR Sillykitty and TR Neon, though I took a moment to fully accept those conclusions this morning. Inertia). Plus, you all have to admit his behavior was like, pretty scummy. Most of you voted for him.
-
At the same time, I was sort of starting to townread Atlas because of their questions on my shitty readlist - the ever-present “you question or scumread me, I townread you” phenomenon. I was previously irritated with my own gameplay because it was too passive - I wasn’t starting wagons, I wasn’t doing reaction tests, I was just accepting what I got, and that wasn’t enough - so I just decided to… make my best possible case on Atlas and see what happened. Partially pushing a legitimate case on someone who I thought would be a useful flip, partially putting all my potential thoughts out there for trial by town square, partially testing for reactions to see if anyone acted W/W or W/V with Atlas.
-
Someone did! What stood out to me specifically as Leafia/Atlas(and eventually /SK) was the following:
She agrees with my case too quickly, but doesn’t hard commit to it, and also connects it with someone I believe to be her scumbuddy. At this point, Leafia still thinks I at least somewhat townread her, so I think she’d have the confidence to push agenda toward me like this.
And then the immediate unvote. Note that SK was also on the wagon at this point. She just… didn’t appear to believe in the Atlas wagon at all, she verbally distanced herself from it by saying she wanted to “see where it takes us” and then immediately unvoted from it. I just… don’t see where this comes from as town.
As soon as a villager posts an Atlas V argument, she points to it and lifts it up. A bad wagon on your scumbuddy is the perfect opportunity to get a villager defending them - she didn’t even have to do any of hte work.
Leafia immediately goes from voting for Atlas to arguing against their
Trouble explaining herself like I do? (Here’s where I’d put a pleading emoji if I had slightly less dignity).
I just… all of these arguments were present before I started the Atlas wagon, there was no reason she should have… believed in it in the slightest, and I don’t see the benefit to joining it as a townie who TRed Atlas like that. Of course, I started it without full belief, but I get special cool guy privileges, and I was specifically just… not confident in my mild Atlas TR.
I shouldn’t have mentioned that I started the wagon for reactions without analyzing those reactions. That was a misplay. I should have figured out my conclusions before I went around saying “oh yeah that was all fake”. Honestly, I just wanted all the information out on the table before the night phase - I’m used to dying during those things.
And this is why I waited for the O kazo flip to hard push Leafia as scum - I made sure to note of my Leafia/Atlas suspicions late during D2, so that they wouldn’t appear to come from nowhere (-_-), but I thought that an O kazo/Leafia/Atlas world was near impossible with how everyone interacted, especially with how Leafia circled back to the O kazo wagon after jumping off for Atlas.
That’s where my initial Leafia SR came from. It was compounded by 1. the fact that I got an immediate, four-vote backlash to voting Leafia and disappearing, when I saw nothing of the sort with my similarly-unjustified O kazo vote and 2. how Leafia manipulated my arguments when we were Fighting and 3. the fact that nobody quickhammered either of us at any point in time and 4. Magnus’s V flip that would have served plenty well to make her look good that made me further SR her.
To be clear, before the whole thunderdome thing, Leafia was still the strongest SR I’d had all game. I talked over and over again during D1 and D2 about how I was so close to putting the pieces together, and this was what I meant. This is how I think. I’m used to not really… having to explain my wagons, honestly. I’m used to playing in an environment with less experienced players who tend to be more susceptible to “text = town”, and I’m used to playing in an environment where there’s a 50/50 chance of any textwall I post being done on a dice roll, so doing long explanations of my suspicions like this usually becomes counterproductive as people just like, skim past it and go “May probably town, also put too much effort for this to be a real read so she probably chose this at random”. Obviously, that is not applicable here, but hey, you live and you learn (I will never learn)
The point is, I think there’s a good chance that Jaiden is a goon (why would the mafia be trying to bus their PR lol) and the thunderdome between May/Leafia has the PR mafia
Ok. Why is Lemon not that PR wolf?
Aah ok
No but I am now wats up
