Flipless Purgatory - Hell Phase 2 (7/9)

You seriously want to send a very likely wolf to Heaven?

rid i mntion im a little high sorry

what do you think of Mittens?

yeah I mean
I donā€™t agree with Leafiaā€™s reasons for thinking Soweli shouldnā€™t be pushing her after EOD1, but I donā€™t think theyā€™re too out there
They seem to parallel the same issue Leafia had in Wrogn 2, where she gives too much weight to late votes that probably arenā€™t going to change the outcome

-:coffee:

Likely to be town at this point. Theyā€™re the only one besides myself that Iā€™d be willing to send to Heaven at this point.

Also, doing this now because Iā€™m not letting an obvious wolf get into Heaven. A villager just doesnā€™t play how Soweli has been playing. VOTE: Mittens

I have something in mind thbthbthtbhtbhtb but Iā€™ll wait to see if it happens

-:coffee:

ah
yeah this was what I had in mind

-:coffee:

You think Mittens is wrong in his read? What parts do you think he is wrong on?

It is a placeholder vote nevermind

Heaven Phase 1 Votecount

Mittens (3): soweli, pandora, Leafia
soweli (3): Mittens, beancat, Chomps
Memekingpizza (1): Memekingpizza

Not Voting (1): childe

I think we can solve this without Mittens surely the game wonā€™t be thrown into paranoia and TvT wars

also they specifically want it so

VOTE: Mittens

Worst comes to worst, weā€™ll be in heaven to help with judgement day
Which does matter a lot - I mathed out earlier that the accuracy of the martyrs in heaven makes a huge impact on how likely town is to win
Anyway I should probably prepare a legacy now - unfortunately Magnus has not appeared, though perhaps they will before EOD

Theyā€™re definitely wrong about Soweli being town. Soweli has been needlessly throwing shade on me this entire game.

no u

I just hope my tinfoil of the team being Mittens, Soweli, and Chomps is wrong.

Zug legacy

I would like to preface this by saying that, as this is all made after only 48 hours and 400 posts, I wouldnā€™t take this as pure gospel or anything. I do think it makes for a decent starting point though.

Soweli I outlined my reasons for townreading in 194:

These still hold IMO. I donā€™t think Soweliā€™s push on Leafia is wolfy, because ultimately in a W!Frink world, he likely knew he wouldnā€™t actually successfully start a new wagon, so itā€™s for appearances primarily - this, it is reasonable for T!Soweli to believe.

Leafia I was initially fairly confident in - I felt her low postcount (this is a pretty strong towntell for her) and the way she handled Chomps earlygame (where she didnā€™t get in a big fight with Chomps - such aggression is a wolftell for her) to be towny. Iā€™m less certain now that I see the argument with Soweli, but such an argument is definitely at least within T!Leafiaā€™s range of aggression - in Wrogn 2, for example, T!Leafia hard-tunneled Creature earlygame, and then Marluna lategame.

Her progression currently makes enough sense - I have been told that a very good way of reading Leafia is to have her walk through her reads, figure out what her worldview is, and then judge whether that makes sense. To be clear, this isnā€™t asking whether it makes sense as in ā€œeverything logically follows completely and is 100% sensibleā€, but makes sense as a thing Leafia could believe. I would advise trying to use this method to read Leafia as the game progresses.

Chomps I initially townread primarily for choosing not to take the free hydra push, and Meme I (and Magnus) initially townread for discovering ideas about the setup during early D1. Iā€™m less confident about these reads now, and I think if Frink is a wolf, that pairing heavily outweighs these - but I wouldnā€™t give them 0 weight.

I think Meme should explain his progression near EOD in detail, by the way - I have earlier been asking why Meme chose not to vote Frink despite finding his EOD wolfy, and I canā€™t extract enough about how Memeā€™s reads progressed to determine if this makes sense.

Pandora is hard-unpaired from Frink - otherwise I donā€™t get much out of their ISO. I would try to find relevant Mayposts about reading Pandora, but I donā€™t have time here.

Childe/Beancat are hard to read and null-ish for me at present.

I think Frinkā€™s actions at EOD donā€™t make sense from a town perspective, and do make some sense (though not that much sense) from a wolf perspective (unless theyā€™re partnered with Beancat, of course). I think they >rand (and also >50%) a wolf, but I could see that being wrong.

To summarize:

Town:
Soweli (unpaired with Frink)

Leafia

Lean/light town:
Chomps (potentially paired with Frink, unpaired with beancat)
Meme (potentially paired with Frink, unpaired with beancat)

Null:
childe
Pandora (unpaired with Frink)
Beancat (makes sense with W!Frink tbf)

Wolfy:
Frink

Anyway - after Hell phase 2, should the game not be over, either everyone in the first 3 will be confirmed town, or weā€™ll know thereā€™s 1 wolf in hell (or you can tinfoil that Iā€™m a wolf in heaven, of course)

I strongly recommend looking at pairings and building worlds - I think thatā€™s the strongest way to solve this. Flips are very important in a usual game, and once we move far enough, weā€™ll have some level of flips to work with.

If it turns out that we hit judgement day, either now or later - please give us things to work with. Explain your progressions, question other peopleā€™s progressions, build teams - yes, youā€™re not the ones voting, but we canā€™t ask any questions ourselves, so you have to do that for us. Demonstrate youā€™re town, and find the wolves.
