I don’t know if that falls under things that mafia could easily replicate because on the technical level yeah vote hydra but on thte other hand bits can kind of fall through when you’re missing the charm and/or you worry too much about it sounding fake (might be overimposing personal experinece oops)

I do see some arguments for why Chomps wouldn’t do this as mafia yeah - namely, there’s the potential to get scumread for it even if he puts on a performance similar to his towngame, and there’s also the potential for it to fall through like you said
But there’s also the advantage of getting a free push out of the gate, and also a particularly good misexe if it can be pulled off, since hydras generally have more accurate reads than normal slots. (and this advantage in read accuracy still applies if we go to heaven and then end up deciding judgement day)
So I think it’s overall >rand town, though that’s not a particularly strong read

Why would people even want to push hydras? I don’t see the stigma against it yet. I just know people don’t like em.

Chomps in particular has a history of pushing hydras (and also alts)… I’m not actually sure of his reasons, but it’s something he does

It all started when the fire nation attacked
TLDR It is easy to push them with stigma, progressed people’s reads on me as town and it is super fun, making someone lose WIM specially if you hit a wolf
I do believe the other reasons I sad tho, Hydras usually clutter a thread, it can be grating to discern posts by only signatures and they’re a bit harder to read
You however i think a 9p game is fine and you will solve the game well if town with all those brains and no NKs

Broadly speaking I disagree with the sentiment that Chomps would be obliged to push any hydra as a default action, irrespective of alignment. Doing so is a deliberate behavioural impulse, initially based on dislike then built by expectation or whatever it may be. In any case w!Chomps’ motivation to abstain here would be to appear more careful and earnest than their typical RVS shove which conveys the impression of innocence. As every evil desires.
Although it does insinuate Chomps isn’t evil aligned with us, or else a weightless push could be feasibly unpartnering. Zug didn’t suggest this possibility so it’s not a scheme… unsure how helpful this is for anyone else.
I don’t have a signature, but I don’t believe Zug can persuasively mimic my caricature. I’ll take whatever differentiation is requested.

I’ve come to realize something too. I feel that the wolves are less likely to try to push to get villagers in Heaven than in a nirmal game due to this being flipless as well as less likely to bus potentially, so watching to see who pushes who to get into both Heaven and Hell will be doubly important this game I feel. All because of its flipless nature.
