You can pretend the Lunatic got poppy’d/saw a Magician even if neither is actually in play

Demon still learns the Lunatic even in a PG game

every single townsfolk role on the script can potentially, minus poppygrower and magician themselves give evil information on who their partners are
shugenja noble tc undertaker are obvious
soldier and monk can point out who isn’t on the team
general and high priestess are gamestate evaluators, and hp can do the same as all three
philo is any of these things
savant can do all three
and amnesiac could aswell.

philo poppy is a big risk to not mess up other players abilities, and even outsiders aswell could show the evil team they’re good

This script would be better if Snake Charmer was included.

Philo poppy also means evil has to chew thru 2 poppy growers before they learn each other

Magician/Poppy Grower seem redundant, so probably I’d replace one of them with Snake Charmer.

The PG just stops the N1 information, I think.

The “evil wakes” reminder would still go on the dead Philosopher.

Philosopher: If the Philosopher chooses Poppy Grower, when the Philosopher dies, the Poppy Grower ability that is healthy as of the moment the Philosopher dies prevents the Philoppygrower ability from causing the Demon/Minions to learn who each other are.

even if the evil team can find each other though, that doesnt remedy the part that i find the least fun about pg stuff
which is that
coordination and funny plans are the heart and soul of playing clocktower as evil for me and poppy grower just smashes through all that
because the evil team will probably never find each other until mid or lategame
