I’ll nominate May for the position of Best Town Player.

This is the same individual who was loudly voted as 2022’s Rookie of the Year, and closely beat out Achro as 2022’s Most Dedicated Player.

May’s statistical record last year was laughable, sure; they never won a game. Even then, it was never through negligence, she kept on playing games and striving to solve, often correctly identifying evils and usually dying before he had a chance to execute them.

This year, May progressed significantly as a town player. Her early weakness as a scum only distinguished his ability to make themselves easily readable and trustworthy as town. They’re social enough that everyone wants to engage with him without being overbearing or annoying, and her mind is sharp enough to garner results from it. May plays in a focused, driven way that makes them shine in later parts of the game, and he doesn’t even pull silly reaction tests early in the game which obfuscate the gamestate. She doesn’t take it out on anyone when they’re misread or challenged, and he plays games often enough that they’re sort of a fixture in the community at the moment. This is the sort of player that people should strive to emulate in some way, honestly.

I also don’t want to be the only nomination for this position.

I’ll nominate Achromatic for Best Town Player. I believe zero loss record this year, townrate rises up extremely when he signs up for the game. Almost always chops wolf d1 and dies n1. Nobody has a bigger thread pull than him when it comes to making people sheep you.

(I do have a question. He is also nominated for best all around player. If a player wins that award, should they be exempt from also winning best town/scum player? I feel like they should, winning both awards at the same time doesn’t seem like a good system.)

I’ll nominate Arctic for Best Town Player too. Always puts a lot of effort, his posts are quite thoughtful, very straightforward, doesn’t mess around. Easily sheepable.

And I’ll nominate Litten for Best Town Player too. Once again easily sheepable, dunks on wolves left and right. He specced all his stat points into attack and none in defense. He is like a rabid feral kitten biting your leg, not letting go, when he catches you wolfing.

I’ll nominate ElizaThePsycho for best host. She hosts a very large amount of games from my personal understanding, and having people willing to put in the time and effort to consistently host is great for everyone.

I’ll nominate ZoneQ11 for best host. Again, one of the hosts willing to put in the most amount of time and effort making games for everyone to play. Can’t play mafia without hosts!
