All the normal songs people submit don’t feel like melancholy to me they feel like watching a movie that’s trying to make you feel melancholy. They make me feel deeply alienated from every other human being on earth. I don’t feel “Maine” when I feel miserable for no reason with no clear source. Not what it feels like.
