“America (disambiguation)” on Wikipedia leads to the USA first and the continent second (arguably an incorrect decision but shows that there are plenty of speakers who use it in that sense), “England (disambiguation)” only has United Kingdom as a “see also”

I’m not citing Wikipedia as an Objective Prescriber of reality but it reflects the fact that “America” is frequently used to refer to just the USA and “England” is something you cannot call the whole UK without getting rocks thrown at you. I wouldn’t rule “Americas” and “USA” to be the same thing
