This is why I am undecided on cheese’s “RT” because despite the intention not really aligning with his actions, I don’t understand why cheese would feel a need to do this as a wolf when he was townread as much as he was wolfread for his posting. An entire reversal, as you put it, may not be warranted to make as a wolf.
I vaguely understand. His method of solving seems more theatrical than genuine, though such is often the case with “reaction tests”.
I’m really reaching here, but I suppose his request for everyone to post reasons for why they were voting Leafia shows some regard for the state of the game? Though I do wonder why he didn’t simply backread to check for peoples’ reasons as at this point there were only around 100 posts.

Maybe it seemed that way, but I assure you I was implying something differently entirely: I had read the thread, had limited time to make a move, so I voted Leafia as a sort of placeholder.
I figured I’d rather cast a vote than nothing. I had read the entire thread, and was in the process of rereading and analysing posts and player connections. I analysed somewhat in my second post.
The same reason anyone else voted Leafia. Wasting votes, acting inherently scummy. Therefore, nothing helpful.

theres two people that im kinda closing in on and if youre the first, then i think youre town, and if you’re the second, i think youre scum, so it’s pretty important to me. as it is, though, ive made the observations that I can and can only read you off of abstract principles at the moment, so i’d say figuring out who you are is pretty important for me.

I have expressed a decent level of uncertainty on cloned’s alignment… I’m surprised this is the impression that you have.

This is… pretty much it, yes. There was a mixture of things leaning me either way, but I decided you were ultimately probably town.
Yes. I know you are wolfy as both alignments by standard metrics, however, I’ve legitimately seen you TWTBAW as a wolf before… therefore I know it doesn’t apply to you especially.
Why can’t you read me via normal principles? Do either of the players you have in mind have some sort of abstract metas?
i can easily see why a wolf would do this- either to be seen like they’re doing something and not simply taking up space in thread (like i mentioned earlier), or to appear carefree about what they do.
in regards to your reaction test cloned, what i disagree with most is this particular bit of reasoning.
i don’t think this is a good callout. it reads “well uh i did a bad thing but look over here they also did a bad thing- don’t focus on me!” i believe it was an attempt to deflect attention in wolfy frustration (which yes, is obviously different from town frustration). though i will say i like this RT of yours, i don’t see why scum would put this much unnecessary effort into something that wasn’t needed as a saving grace.

i’m catching up to the rest of the thread currently, and i’m going to focus on Brad, pigeon, and Leafia in particular as i finish doing so, (and would appreciate if others talked with me as well about these).
the top of the head thoughts i’d like to expand on there:
understanding the Leafia case and getting a better knowledge of her meta, and on what specifically it applies here (with a focus on the early pileup and vote analysis).
on the subject of Leafia’s wagon analysis, the matter of pigeon. i most disliked the last two votes, and would care to talk with @thepigeonnyc himself for some real-time here.
and lastly, Brad. i remember he was liked earlier though- i don’t particularly understand why. cheese’s case requires a further look from me.
