how about feedback to the town team in general?

This game was great, I personally enjoyed it a lot despite saying I was despising it, while it was hard to try and win, I feel that was more based on the Town and the Mafia both doing well that it felt like we were locked together at some point during the game, I’m only going to comment on memorable things I saw about everyone during the game because I don’t want to waste 5 years making a post lmao, anyway here’s proof that everyone played well this game, y’all suck if you don’t agree with me:

outedwolf’s bomb choices were amazing this game and they worked out greatly for Town, first putting a bomb on Arctic and then giving it to Vulgard, both of which ended in a wolf dying was great reading and choice skills, he also flew completely under my radar on who was the Sorcerer until he outed, when Mistyx outed as Sorcerer I genuinely felt she was Sorcerer but I didn’t cc either way as wolves were already in a bad position.

Kiiruma towards the end of D4 began to have everything figured out, I know unfortunate circumstances came up but despite that he still put effort in and I’m proud of the things he did, especially when he began figuring me out during that day, it sort of made me worry about leaving him alive to go into the final day so I had to get him killed quickly, purely because I felt that it was necessary.

Vulgard did great with the hero-bomb on Marshal and I was respect it greatly, Marshal was so heavily Town in everyone’s opinion but Vulgard saw through it to a degree that if Marshal was Town, I can’t help but think Vulgard probably would’ve been shamed for it but he took the risk anyway and it paid off greatly for Town, not towards the end, but it was an amazing and unexpected twist that I really didn’t want to happen.

Clonedcheese wasn’t alive for long but honestly him being executed D1 was a large saving grace for Mafia at times, it was so heavily used for me to be able to defend myself and not to mention how he spewed people as he was dying, while it wasn’t our full plan because having all alive Mafia are better than dead Mafia, it still worked out greatly due to how he played before he died so it put us wolves in a very good position, 10/10, would bus again :wowee:

YBW definitely played great this game, while like I said earlier I played like a disappointed father towards him, I was actually quite impressed with how eventually he decided to start making reads of his own and pushing on people he personally believed were scum, I want to see him doing that more in the future.

Eli also did pretty well despite being mislynched D3, he kept himself hidden from wolf suspicion (Granted, that was until I began to think that he was Angel but that’s a different thing), he basically became someone that I wouldn’t want to kill anyway and even after figuring out he was Angel D3, I still wasn’t confident based on how he was playing.

Marshal played amazingly as well, she put herself into a position where no-one suspected her apart from one or two people, it was just unfortunate that one of those people that suspected her had the bomb, she was also great at being a companion in wolfchat, and while she made me panic at some stages (cough cough, almost killing me at EOD2), basically everything she did or suggested to do worked out in the end, definitely someone I like being wolf with tbh.

Arete on the first day did pretty well with their reads especially when they suspected me and while they didn’t vote the wolf, in my opinion they still played well, also not to mention that Arete’s presence is still a large fear for any wolf so we bombed them before they could really do much to decide anything lmao (sorry about that, it was pretty funny though)

While min didn’t absolutely dunk on wolves like other people in this thread, he still did very well by inadvertently causing people to be locktown, those being Marl and himself, based on their argument practically never coming from wolves and Marshal then flipped right after made it almost insanity to assume they were wolves…even though I did in the end.

Marl played great, from going extremely suspected to locktown was fearful especially when it’s someone with a history of being good as Town, not to mention he was one of the only players to start placing suspicion on me when I was practically on Cloud Nine in terms of being Town, he also had some pretty solid reads throughout the game even being the only person to suspect Arctic D1, or one off, I don’t remember.

Bradland was a great guy throughout the game, I just want to have that made clear that he is pretty chill and I enjoyed interacting with him in the thread, but apart from that the glaring obvious thing is that he suspected me in F3, while he didn’t have change to do much because we ended it quickly, it certainly made things more hard for me from the moment I entered the thread, not to mention his reads (moreso his Townreads) were very good during the game and fairly about as accurate as most people could get their reads.

Mistyx caused so much panic for me during D2, like a great amount especially when she claimed Sorcerer and didn’t notice that at first, I felt I was screwed the moment she claimed it which would’ve been disastrous for the wolfteam, at least in my opinion we probably would’ve lost if outedwolf hadn’t had counterclaimed, it also almost put me in a situation where I perspective slipped, and I’m pretty sure I did at one point, but that all stemmed from a play that seemed to almost work out great for Town.

Hippo played amazingly throughout the entire game, like holy shit, D1 he instantly suspected Marshal and partly suspected Cloned, D2 he came in continuing his reads, even adding me onto his suspect list which almost got me killed, (I believe he mentioned Arctic at one point) and even when everyone was Townreading Marshal, he didn’t and instead kept placing more and more suspicion on Marshal, while I have no idea if this encouraged Vulgard to blow Marshal up, my god was he a large threat to the Mafia and he was such a bad threat that I couldn’t even get change to kill him because then that would be worse, he played so well this game and I’m impressed that Mafia even managed to win when he was being an absolute GOAT the entire time, I know this is my longest one and I don’t regret it.

Atlas didn’t do much, frankly due to dying N1 but apart from that he did well, he even made the Mafia think that he was doing reverse psychology where he makes us think he’s not the Sorcerer but actually is but when in the end it was super clear that he wasn’t the Sorcerer, we still thought that he could be due to how he played around his claim of being a Sorcerer, granted I felt he slipped up at one point, but that wasn’t a single thing that changed it, even when I questioned him suddenly about what a Sorcerer would do, he didn’t break his claim.

Arctic did pretty well with his D1 shenanigans, he slipped under most peoples radar without being noticed (granted some people did), but he also did well enough that he would have pretty good credibility for D2, it was just very unfortunate that he was given the bomb by outedwolf that screwed us over, although apart from that he did some pretty good solving on who to use our actions on in wolfchat and even who should be blown up despite knowing that it would screw him over, 10/10, would wolf with again (even though I wish we had more time wolfing together)

Leafia was a threat to Mafia the moment they started speaking, not to mention when he came into D2 suspecting me unlike most people, it certainly put a threat on our game, the only reason I believe it didn’t work out is because of how easily Leafia can switch their mind but apart from that I believe that if Leafia continued to pursue what they are doing instead of switching on who they think they want to kill, I believe they could’ve done a lot more better this game, however despite this seeming semi-negative, I extremely needed them dead before F3 and better yet F5 due to their ability to be a threat, when Leafia can be passionate about their push, they can easily convince others.

I am never complimenting any of you guys again, this was exhausting but I wanted to show how much I enjoyed the game and why I personally believe it was a good game of both sides playing extremely well. By the way, this is not me sucking up to you guys, this is me being genuine.

I wrote more in this post than I did in just one post throughout the entire game :wowee:

Lmaoooo.

I see no reason to DVC warrior, I think both factions did some good things this game.

Based.

The only thing that annoys me is that you guys killed Eli. Arete was super insistent not to kill him and I was insistent that you listen to them. :(

Then again, I was also insistent Wazza was town and that was wrong, so… yeah. Mafia games be mafia games.

I think you guys should’ve evaluated more in f3, this shouldn’t have ended so quickly.

Also, resolving counterwagons GOAT? If we just resolved the day 1 wagons, we would’ve won the game. Three wolves were wagoned on day 1 at some point and the fourth was bombed n1.

1/10, you didn’t survive a wolf bombing you :(
Thoughts on mine? I honestly think my play was a mess that somehow still resulted in several wolves dying, but… might as well ask for a review from a player I respect a lot.

Also open to answering questions about my posting, I’m not the most transparent player. Though I tried to be more transparent this game.

did you figure this out post-game or after I died

because if it was before you were dead on

That was 100% what I was trying to do

I’m not arete but my unsolicited advice is mostly to be super sparing with non w/w reads, making it a large basis of your play leads to weaker ones being justified and can lead to situations such as “me being not w/w with the entire wolfteam” :wowee:
