i don’t recall marshal defending themselves via wifom as a villager, and i don’t think you’re lying, i just don’t remember it. which probably makes my initial read invalid but i’m trying to explain why i made it
the only time i remember was in ciconia which was my last game with them and they were a wolf
i more strongly associate marshal’s villager defence with the “im obvious town” shtick

unalign mostly because of how arctic treats marshal vs how marshal treats arctic
notable dissonance of caring; arctic cares much more about his assessment of marshal than marshal cares about arctic’s assessment of her, and by extension, than marshal cares about her assessment of arctic
basically it doesn’t look like they’re doing purposeful distancing
it’s on the milder side but i’m okay enough with putting it on the list

I want to make it clear right now in thread that I will give wazza 0 cred for being toxic (and everyone else should as well) and if that is her goal regardless of alignment to please stop because that makes the game less fun for everyone :)

i think min harping on about ybw not being assessed correctly unaligns them
in my experience, min doesn’t really do that to townread partners
at all
especially not in the earlygame, and this is still the earlygame

I think wazza is scummy based on some points, but I think arete is just trying to get her killed without solving the slot

i think this unaligns atlas with both wazza and arete honestly but i can’t explain it very well
it feels like a very villagery way of suspecting two people instead of being a wolf playing around and casting a web of suspicion over two contentious slots
basically this doesn’t feel like a wolf encouraging a v/v argument and it’s not an assessment of a v/w situation where you’re siding with your partner
it’s a player voicing concerns about an argument without taking sides or encouraging it and i think it’s 1. towny for atlas and 2. unaligning with both players mentioned in the post
you could argue it’s aligning with wazza since atlas is “leaning” toward arete being the wolf here but atlas doesn’t really do anything with this later so i’m still ok with this

they also told me to unalign eli/wazza, but i agree with that more independently, and i think that’s more likely to be a tmi-laden take with Eli V than it is to be a tmi-laden take with Eli W, if that makes sense

i think arete is significantly more likely to ignore outed wolf completely than they are to bring him up all of a sudden at that timeframe, especially as a suspicion, if arete/outed wolf are w/w; this is based on my perception of arete’s wolfgame
so basically i’m saying arete/outed wolf aren’t aligned

I was making a read on the player with the username Outedwolf who as far as I know uses he/him pronouns

that’s another mildly unaligning post between them so yeah it adds up a little
would lock it in if outed commented on arete at all but either way i’m comfortable enough with putting this on the list

semi-conflicted on Brad, he is very different from every past time I’ve seen him as town, which is probably >rand wolf since he’s super polarized, but if I’d never seen him play before I think I would think that his response to my questioning was villagery (particularly w.r.t. the bit where I was asking about why he had done a thing he thought was wolfly if he was town), but also I kind of thought he was being appease-y by townreading everyone who scumread him

arete atlas and wazza are approaching a spot where i think they’re villagers based on the sheer number of people they’d be spewing town if they were mafia

cloned’s unalign with marshal is weak, his response to my initial push on him was weaksauce, his treatment of arete vs wazza is yikes, and i independently townread the two people he’s unaligned with more strongly than with marshal, so yeah

mistyx and outedwolf both notably lack unaligns but it’s also directly tied to their low presence in this game so far so i don’t think that’s very significant

brad/arctic/min having few unaligns despite having a decent presence might be significant but i’m withholding judgment on that one
