Irrespective of whether or not Lol was killed due to his reads, or it’s a PR hunt, the fact that Mafia spent two nights in a row killing moderate posters makes me believe there’s at least one active evil, someone in control of the thread. With one JOAT dead there’s no necessity to dodge a doctor, and if Town was entirely directing the show, you bet a top poster would’ve died.
I knew Marl was going to be executed, I had no faith in any of you. I’m recalibrating my reads, and right now I’m concerned there’s a deepwolf in play. Where to go from here, how to proceed…

Yeah I believe Vulgard/May/Eliza/King/ might actually contain 2 wolves. I’m thinking at it and going for it.

I’m beginning to see Silviu slot as a wolf but only with Vulgard.
I can see allot of slots with Vulgard but I need to find their partner first.

I know I dislike the interactions between YBW and King, how they’re blatantly and verbally pocketing each other and refusing to accept the possibility of the other being evil. I was scrutinising YBW earlier, but I’m thinking I’ve missed out on KT’s slot.

I mean, I don’t think it’s harmful at this stage. 2/11 of us are scum - 2/13 yesterday. That’s not a lot. Mutual townreads are going to be a thing, and we’re going to have to work together to some degree if we want to actually get anything productive done.
Not to parrot what Silviu was going off about D1, but remember Flicker? That whole thing was brought about by every single townie, me included, going off on their own, trying to solo and refusing to work with anybody else. Trust is part of the game as much as suspicion; a townie who refuses to trust anyone else is just as useless as a townie who won’t suspect others.
Trust is also something that can be re-evaluated later - just because they’re working together now doesn’t mean they’re completely refusing to accept the other being evil. I don’t completely townread either of those two, but you gotta work together in mafia, despite the game being set against it.
Every single game I’ve played here, town has lost, and every single time I think it’s been to paranoia. You have to put some faith in the others around you, even if it can’t be forever - I’d turn on essentially any of my townreads if they lived to LyLo, but that doesn’t mean I can’t work with them for now, because even wolves won’t completely lead you astray. In fact, trusting and working with wolves in public is the best way to get them to immediately show their hand to you, as Leafia did when I townread her in Flicker.
lol was probably killed for their ability to, like, have opinions and lead thread - without them, everything’s going to be a bit more sluggish. I think this kill at least somewhat points to wolves who are trying to lead thread rather than hang around in the back? I’m not sure, though, I’ll have to look at what lol had said, and of course, I prefer to fit nightkills into existing theories rather than examine them alone.
It’s quite late for me, so I’ve got to head to bed - sorry I didn’t get any gameplay in today. Hopefully I’ll have some analysis around by tomorrow. I need to step up, I know it, Zorvo knows it, we all know it, but it’s 2AM and I’ll be sleeping now. Good night and/or timezone, everyone.

Everyone’s assignment for tonight is to post their top 3 townreads. It would also be nice if you could analyze what you think of your townreads’ reads - do you think they’re accurate, inaccurate, something in between, would you vote with them, and why?
Bonus question: who do you think has the most accurate reads in the game, and do you think that person is town or scum with TMI?
I think that’d be a really helpful exercise to facilitate… just, like, a base level of communication - it doesn’t have to be trust, just consideration of your presumed fellow townies’ opinions.
I’ll also avoid keeping my vote idle - going to toss in a VOTE: Molly, because her reads have been pinging TMI for me. High honor if she’s town, of course, but I’m not sure in the slightest that that’s true.

Oh, looks like Magnus had the same opinion as me about the lol execution just a bit up the thread. Well, for the record, Magnus, I agree with most of that - lol’s execution points to an active evil, and as I added, I think the fact that lol specifically was killed points to the idea that their opinionatedness was a danger to someone leading the show.
The part I don’t agree with is having no faith in anyone else, as I noted above - I don’t have any clears in mind, but I don’t think I’m going to solve this game alone. I’ve been trying for the past two days and it hasn’t quite been working (though I’ve not put as much effort into it as I did in previous games). I don’t believe by any means that I’m the best player in this thread, so it’s to my detriment not to take others’ arguments into account, as it is to everyone else who isn’t the best player in this thread (to whom that honor goes to is left as an exercise to the reader).
