Idk, I don’t know how much history you guys have together of playing and reading each other correctly. The thing that skeeves me out the most is the way he dances around giving bold takes on you or me, despite being very familiar with both of us as players, and only gives a semblance of a take on me when I’m out of the thread but then doesn’t make any effort to try to solve with me, which we do as town together

Well he just clanked trying to read me in g8 and we have apparently wolfed together in a hydra although my memory of that is bad.

I think like the bothering thing is him saying i wont re eval. Its like it feels manipulative because i re eval a lot and also it feels like in none of his replies to me he leaves room for me being a wolf fucking with him. My wolf game is very strong.

He got pretty widely scumread for his first few posts, some players (Kii and me probably the loudest voices) started defending him, then he got socially cleared in the first round of BOATS and also made his posts a lot townier imo once he got into the rhythm, and he didn’t get voted out until very late in the game (and he was a wolf).

He had another recent game where he powerwolfed and pulled a very good fakeclaim, got himself incorrectly cleared off it, endgamed and won.

Idk, I have Marl on my radar and since I have a bunch of unsorted reads he got knocked down to the bottom of my readlist because it’s the closest I have to a scumread but I’m not even sure it’s right

I feel like I should’ve been able to sort him by interacting with him, even if I had difficulty sorting what I backread from him when I wasn’t in the thread

But I felt conflicted and it reminds me of what I felt trying to read Marl’s slot on D1 in FAM until maybe halfway thru the day when I decided I’d assume he was town because I didn’t think anything he’d said was overtly wolfy, just a bit quiet

I think he’s been less “quiet” in the early game here but he’s gotten more underwhelming somehow and it isn’t what I expected to see

He doesn’t seem as fired up about the game

And I know that’s what people said in FAM and were using it as his wolf meta (I don’t think this is entirely consistent but it happens more often when he wolfs)

Yeah, this is kind of why I was voting Marl earlier on, tbh.

His reads kind of feel subdued-ish and he doesn’t really have the “HERE COMES THE TOWN HERO” feel as he generally does when he towns.
