Lolno
Seth was sure he could keep pushing alison to a ml but like he really couldnt and wouldnt listen to reason and then we lost
No i was thinking how long we would have to actually keep marl around and the wolf counter play of us not lynching him if he is town. In theory if i understand right if he was claim killed night 2 he would be as useless to town as n1 so if we kill wolf today and he survived it doesnt really mean anything.
Then i think it is less likely anyone tries advanced tactics like this.
If Marl is a villager then he can only revive villagers. And frankly if heās a villager then heās dying n1 either way as itād be simply idiotic for wolves to let him live to use his action as he can bring a villager back.
Like, I donāt think we should talk about Marl any further today. If heās V then itās pointless to discuss him since heāll be mech-cleared and if heās W then heās simply never endgaming unless this site gamethrows harder than it did in SFoL63 and lets a wolfy d1 Retributionist claim that never revived endgame.
Our loss had nothing to do with it, just with the fact that im a terrible wolf
Just saying distancing like that isnt outrageous
I have definitely gone way further to distance
I doubt Marlās an actual Ret, tbh. Plus even if he is a Ret then thereās still the off-chance that a Consort rolled.
Disagree a bit. I like mechanics but if he is firmly in his wolf meta i would really need an actually compelling case on someone else as mislynches are townās most precious resource.
I dont have an opinion on his role
Meaning its a waste to lynch someone else just to avoid a role situation unless you feel really good about that lynch too
What about it do you like?
Atlas is not Esooa.
Esooa is an extremely dynamic wolf where sheāll lie even about minor things like claiming that wolfmate Alison on an alt was the alt of an very polarized player in order to get her meta-cleared. Atlas isā¦ kind of a potato wolf that I donāt think would dwell much on his wolfmateās alt identity to look unaligned, no offense to him, though.
hey
i won and thats all that matters
I dont think hyperfixating on someoneās real identity which is most likely a TMI slip if theyre partnered is something you have to be a great wolf for
Im using that as an example for why i dont think its unaligned
Anyways this topic is pretty much done, no use discussing it anymore. Just my opinion.
What is actually starting to make me believe Vulgard is town is the fact they didnāt just plop a town read on Eliza early on and ignore them, they need keep an eye on them and further progressed on their read.
Itās frankly kind of a gamble.
Like Marlās Ret claim raised his wolf equity by a hell lot since thatās exactly what I imagine what Marl would do if he was a wolf this match.
Thing is if heās a potato Ret then weād be lynching one of the strongest PRs we have that can basically self-resolve if we let them alive.
My thought is a step further. If he is potato and the next person we draw up is a potato then we outed another town. Like it doesnt always have to be marl but there are backfires for letting marl go for someone with less wolf equity. You know?
