I actually find Marl to be more LAMISTy as a villager actually.

In one hand, he’s gotten out some reads and stated thst he thinks I’m a wolf, which is what I’d expect from v!Marl. However, he’s been fading into the background a bit and he hasn’t done much with the reads he has and hasn’t even tried to push me at all, and I’d expect him to do the exact opposite of that as a villager, which is why I’m really conflicted on his slot right now. I also don’t really believe his ret claim either since it feels as if he’s just trying to use it to survive longer. As to whether that makes him scum or not, I’m currently leaning towards yes, although I can see him potentially doing it as a villager too, so I’m not certain that he’s a wolf.

On the one hand several things make me go ‘hm’ about the thread state surrounding marl in terms of wolf equity.
Lack of real counter wagon. Lack of real defense from anyone for marl. The spread of wagons feels very bad for town heading into the final stretch.
On the other hand there is marl’s play itself which i see no reason to have any confidence is from town. Alice who has relevant experience with marl is seeing the same thing. If she was misconstruing i would hope town marl would have some wim to poke holes there.

Wolves here don’t defend each other that often, tbh. Like when Sulit fakeclaimed Desperado in FAM2 nobody came to her aid. Plus, if Marl is a wolf then I don’t really see the point of a wolf coming to his aid if they know that Marl would never endgame.
Wagonomics-wise his wagon only really began to form after his claim so, yeah.
What do you two think about Marl’s ret claim?
