I honestly can’t tell if I’m depressed or something. Anxiety is a theme in my life. Yay me!

sorry crich
hopefully it gets better
i don’t really know what to suggest but improving your physical well being usually helps with things like that
things like drinking a lot of water and going on runs
just i hope your situation improves and it gets better

Thanks for the support. Chess does help with exercise.

Anxiety comes from the flight and fight reaction because the brain isn’t made to perceive what’s truly dangerous. If you’re having anxiety at night, don’t try to think of it at all, as you can always think about it in the morning instead.

In rest, remember to contact a psychologist :people_hugging:

I can also tell you about the pursue of happiness as I’ve read it from a book and am also taking an online course regarding social psychology, however these doesn’t make me an expert at all.

Yeah I get tired faster and sometimes sleep in the afternoon. Could be worse.

Aside from the starter pack depression I had undergone a screening for autism. Results should be coming shortly. I would normally wait until they had been delivered but it’s over a month of waiting now and, well, I grew impatient. The delay, though, is basically a confirmation on itself. My neuropsychologist should be doing the steps to register me legally and/or to double-proof me, as I have a few benefits from being autistic in this country (like free bus rides and retiring earlier).

Don’t mind me asking but what is causing your depression?

Probably my parents, repression, or school-related pressure. Maybe isolation helped. I saw myself slowly getting more and more depressed on my 14-16s. Peaked on my 17-18s.

The most valuable thing for happiness is also having friends, either online or offline. But in physical life it doesn’t hurt to engage in small talk with some people. Just having a support system overall.

And remember to sleep at night, you need to sleep to have a healthy mind. Lack of sleep fuels depression and depression futher fuels lack of sleep.

A bit hard, I’m awkward to approach people, specially people already “stabilished”. Maybe it would be easier to try in the new wave of freshers.

Yeah, if you feel more comfy with being friends with new people then you certainly can. And definetly don’t try to interact too much with the people that are making you uncomfortable.

I would say that I behave awkward in public, but meh if I do something wrong, these strangers will forget about me and I already forgot how they look like.

Though yeah, I’m no expert in the topic of :sparkles: socializing :sparkles:, though don’t go around trying to pretend to be another person or try to suck up to people that interact you for like homework or things like that while they don’t give any help in return.
I believe that people learn from home how they should behave publicly and those that don’t are the odds one out.

Though I don’t exactly know your exact situation, you can always do what you know best.

And also considering you have this. Remember it’s always okay to feel emotions, you just know how to manage them. If you have fury, you don’t go around punching people, for example.

I think at some point I will flood this chat with too many messages
