Yes, and our best method for finding and executing wolves is executing players who are wolfy (not just looking wolfy, but also working towards wolf goals)
As it turns out, town players do not know who wolf players are. If this was a flipless game, we may never be certain who the wolves were until post-game. You don’t know who the wolves are before they die, you can only form wolf reads on players, and until the moment that they die, all you can do is guess as to whom they are.
