that was actually just lemon i think
which scares me into not wanting to play on FOL if I risk rtunning into more players that think like lemon did.
fair
most people are actually p good mechanical players
social on the other hand
cause I don’t even mean to be an ass, but there is no world where you flip an uncc’d role to find out if their lieing about a check. The check always flips first, ALWAYS. This isn’t even a debate.
yeah lol
actually I remember one time when I had to try to explain that to someone and they didn’t get it
I think they were from offsite tho, not sure i don’t remember who it was
i don’t think this is true, cause if fol playerbase was mechanically good they would have buried zone the moment I claimed my jail, because mechanically that was the correct move.
maybe not that good
besides, you yourself kept switching between “zone was attacked” and “zone was roleblocked”
because i believed town was universally town, and I explained that.
zone**
precisely
FoL players suck at social, (and idk about this part being most players but) they often let thier bad socials trump mech
anyways
see: initiative to improve townplay thread
i don’t need that, what this game has taught me is keep my claim to myself next time. Since mechaically it wasnt even needed if I wanted to bury zone.
no im just saying that contains most of the problems with fol players
… probably
I play on many mafia sites so I don’;t have this meta problem.

Congratulations @Lemonfairy. You have scarred Chihiro. (Damn. I knew NUF’s reputation is not the best, but I never thought this day would ever come.)
Well you see: When you should claim is a thing that differs per game. Oftentimes, it is best to immediately claim if you are negative utility like a Miller. However, it would otherwise be often more beneficial to hide your claim until you are either driven to a corner (i.e. about to be executed) or until you are certain that you are going to push someone to death.
You did well by not claiming immediately at SOD3, but you could have taken a bit more time to gauge everyone’s reactions, and the moment when you said your site has a policy, you should have doubled down on that policy, or simply never mention the policy in the first place since you were creating a gap for Mafia to shade you. (I mean… IIRC none of the Mafia actually did that. Rather, I believe that Lemlem did that, but Lemlem is not right in the head anyway.)
