I mean I chose eight hours because that’s a reasonable amount of time to stand in one place without it being obviously a cheese attempt

i’m not going to pretend that isn’t… an issue, but i think my overall argument is still sound, it just relies on the players being Actually Active instead of AFKing all the time. obviously you can’t eliminate all alibis, but you can absoluetly reduce the number of people with such alibis

that’s kind of what abilities are for aren’t they

like for example zori’s from dr5 would have circumvented the entire thing and let her pull off a murder plan that probably would have worked out just by virtue of throwing off the time of death

(sorry that’s a really lame response but like. it’s all i can say? i feel like you’re overestimating how many “cheap alibis” there are in the average DR game. also, We’re Working On That Problem for DR6)

I mean I’m specifically basing this off of playing HPU and hosting DR5? People didn’t actually partner up all the time, but they did frequently, enough to be a major issue for murderers

we tried burning down the cabin or whatever and it helped somewhat but it kind of just made people move
