Botc is also chill because so much of the game is a mixture of mechanical and socials you can talk about nonsense and still win the game
Well it depends what the setup rolled in the first place.
If we takes things at face value then there are 5 townsfolk, 2 outsiders, 1 minion and 1 demon - The exceptions to this being a Kazali game or a Huntsman game (Which the ST added +1 outsider for Damsel) or potentially a Xaan game with a non-Kazali demon
For the most part, the minion will not have started off with a bluff and would be more reliant on their demon for one - The exception to this being in a Kazali game.
Evil also won’t know too much about the setup, the exceptions to this could be if it’s a Kazali game in which case the minion will have had a bluff, a Boffin game in which the demon will know (and have) a not-in play good ability and finally if it’s a Damsel game.
I think general rule, minion will want to talk to the demon to sort bluffs / coordinate a bit. They also might want to talk to town to PoE down things about the game state.
Does mafia not have a separate Discord chat in BotF games?
Do evils get a list of what isnt in play or do they have to guess into what roles are spoken for
demon gets 3 roles out of play chosen by the hosts
Minions get nothing
I’d hope not. A key aspect of BotC is that you need to go whisper with your evil teammates for those purposes and town can track that. If they have a discord chat then it’s wacky (The exception to this being Lil’ Monsta games where evil NEEDS a chat together but only for that purpose)

Yeah.
The demon will know 3 not in play characters (Potentially 4 due to Boffin)
The minion will not know anything of the likeness unless it’s a Kazali game in which they know that the token they originally had is not in play (Unless a jinx has caused it to be back in play) or if it’s a Damsel game in which case the minion will know “There is a Damsel in play”.

In general, results only have four ways of being wrong:
- Being the Drunk Village Idiot
- Neighboring the No-Dashii (which requires that Demon to be the one in play)
- The Xaan poisoning all results on Night [X]
- A Sweetheart dying

No role should really claim outright, which is kinda why we’re in a bit of a stagnant position at the moment.
Even Zone is attempting to imply his role rather than outright confirming it.
