And if you are good, you should probably be focused less on defending yourself and more so reading the people in the game based on their merits and mechanical evidence. Going “I’m town” and then accusing us because we are voting you based off mechanical evidence and us reading the other people in the game is not helping, it’s just making me want to double down and kill you more as all I smell is blood in the water.

Like, there are multiple people you can talk about in the game. I’m not claiming to be omniscient. I could be wrong and Kiiruma is evil, or Chomps is evil, etc. I’m only voting you and going guns blazing because I want to see the way you react to me right now. And I’ve got to say, accusing us because we were green checked and pushing you is not helping.

Like, that is how I solve mafia games. I push people with unearned confidence, see how they react, see how their reads progress, then change my tact. There is mechanical reason as to why you are evil so it’s up to you to disprove it by showing why other people are more likely to be a wolf

I think my fundamental problem with the push is that when I get pushed as mafia, I don’t have blood in the water.
I don’t think my push on you comes out of nowhere, and I don’t think it has come as a response to you pushing me, so I think that framing it as such is disingenuous.

I have spoken about my reads, both publicly and privately. I have been very open about my intentions and trains of thought, about why I townread Carbon and Kiiruma and Chomps and what I believe the mech seems to suggest. I became the second major wagon today, and in response to that, I sought to converse with the self-voting top wagon to understand the state of things rather than scour for another wagon to push. In response to being increasingly pushed as scummy, I have instead pushed to further the game state.

I have not taken care to assert my towniness, and paradoxically, I’m asking you to view that as towny.
I understand that.
But you have seen me play long enough to know that when I am mafia, I do not put myself out there like this. I do not actively push for information or really shake up the waters like this. As mafia, I’m docile and quiet and relegated to being a yes-man.

If you are town, then I imagine that I have been as frustrating to you as you have been to me. It’s a fault of poor communication on my end, and for that, I apologize. I have, by my own admission, been tunneling.
But I do not think that these mistakes and flaws are necessarily scum-indicative.

Regardless, I do not think us arguing about what makes me socially towny does us any good here because I am fighting an uphill battle against mech.
I’m going to see what my information leads me to piece together.

From my perspective, it didn’t come out of nowhere, no. I don’t think I framed it that way either, in fact I said that it cropped up in the first couple of your posts when you were discussing chomp results. The reason I started to smell blood is because the push intensified when we started to push you, which reminds me of how baker played in FOTR when I started to push them heavily and how they accused me of being evil. Make no mistake, I watched how that happened carefully.

And yeah, I’ve read through your reasons for town reading those players, but you didn’t explain them well enough to where I understood where you were coming from. The carbonated read makes sense, the Kiiruma read does not make sense and the Chomp read wasn’t elaborated on. Kiiruma acts like they are self resolving and confirmable all the time, in fact they were in our face about it in Lizards when they were a minion.

Like I didn’t explain this before, because I never usually do, but I read through your posts and tried to understand where they were coming from a while back. You did have a good process this game too, in the sense of looking at town reads. But the process I feel like should be leading to a different conclusion than reading us as mafia. Especially considering the fact that you have talked to people who mechanical information should be making you question who is our demon or minion. Working right now so forgive sparse reactions but you town read catb kiirumw chomp hippo zone rn rigjt?

Hippo is more mixed to me, partly because I don’t know how to read that slot and also for the fairly obvious “they are claiming my role”. It played into my choice to Whisper Zone, and I just chalked it up to him being Cere-mad.

My thoughts are that there is probably a wolf between yourselves and Ash based on how things have been presented to town. It’s either that or it’s something like a Xaan 1 and there’s droisoning going on to turn town against town.
