Ice Cream Mafia - Day 2 (12/14)

In my defense:

:point_up_2: I was trying to see from Mafiaā€™s POV which method would give them the most trouble.

ATLA maybe.

But I think itā€™s definetly better than TLOK. (I couldnā€™t even finish season 2 of korra)

Gonna be honest I didnā€™t like seasons 4-7 as much as I liked seasons 1-3. The main reason being (S4-7 spoilers) it stopped being about dragons and became annoying elf drama. I am still annoyed Azymondias just took the role of a nearly useless pet.

Oh right maybe I got too late into this discussion. What a shame, I wouldā€™ve liked talking more about this than the game.

but it would make impossible for town as wellā€¦

Maybe you should watch things from town POV before mafia POVā€¦

If someone was meant to go Vanilla that night but Neapolitan checks them non-Vanilla then they are pretty much outed (unless they disobeyed town orders). Mafia will never show up as Vanilla.

Heā€™s not going to, itā€™s too much math.

Hm. Sounds like a reason for me to not continue The Dragon Prince. (Eh. Iā€™ll probably check it out somewhen in the future.)

You all still have Chomps in wolf meta here? I donā€™t know how to read them because I never saw them wolfing.

I havenā€™t read Hydraā€™s posts yet. I know neil to be a huge shitposter as either alignment though.

Mafia POV: Security. What method gives the least amount of information to Mafia? (One-check predetermined.)

Town POV: Efficiency. What method gives the most amount of information to Town? (One-check random.)

I already did both, and both are terrible. Oneā€™s efficiency is bad, and the otherā€™s security is worse.

Hence why I returned my focus to your double-check method in this postā€™s third paragraph.

How did you get to townread ILP? Is it because I didnā€™t attack them yet?

I thought you are chill dog, not a Cerberus in a freezing underworld.

to summarize the case on Chomps:

potato cat first called out chomps for being in wolf meta. I think she was accurate. Chomps was way too helpful and motivated compared to what he generally does as town. And he does that as mafia. He is way more successful and motivated as mafia

after that, chomps started chanting ā€œlets vote potato cat for no reason i cant hear anything lalalalaā€. this is my reason for suspecting him, it felt manipulative. this is generally his town meta. it felt to me like he is very aware of his two metas, and after being called out for being in the wolf meta he snapped his finger and started heavily being in his town meta

so atm he is in his town meta, but imo the way he got there is manipulative and wolfy

Iā€™m not this unchangeable monolith as town i will try to fake my town meta as town

VOTE: Chomps

vote me so next game we can put behind me being in any meta as instantly polarizing

I think Willow being disinterested in the game is >rand town. Iā€™ve never seen her be interested in mafia when town (on FoL). I have seen her be interested as mafia

I think neil finding itself in a lot of conflicts, social conflicts is towny. There is a lot of cultural and personality clash. I think that neil kept trying to solve the game, the solving itself was very chill. I donā€™t necessarily agree with the conclusions but I think the thoughts were reasonable. i think there was a degree of towny entitlement that it deserves to be townread. i think trying to wagon zone was like trying to move a boulder, its just not realistic, but i think neil believed in it. im not sure how to explain it. just felt to me like a townie doing its thing, not really aware of thread temperature / vibes / reads. neil felt alone, lost, and abandoned to me

you mean change? why would you fake it?
