Jail wasnt suspected so there’s no reason for him to say the entire thread is villagery as a wolf imo. Unless he wants to secure townreads on his teammates. Maybe he could be a wolf with tutuu.

Just because I found the suspicion villagery doesn’t mean that I’m wolfreading Jail. It just means I find the fact that they’re suspicious of him villagery because I think a wolf would be less likely to voice that suspicion.

I want to consider Chomp’s behavior and think if he could be town. I’m a big opponent of punishing people. I don’t like punitive decisions in mafia, I like rehabilitative. I want to combat my bias. I don’t want to give into my annoyance into dictating my decisions. I am frustrated and shocked at Chomp’s behavior, but just saying “Ok we will policy chop you for that” is close minded. He could still be mafia but I would like us to think about it carefully and try to work with him if he’s town

I like chopping wolves in mafia. If there’s any reason to think Chomps is town, then I’ll move my vote. But if it’s just so you can feel like you’re not “punishing” them then I don’t want to move it.

Which is why I asked you what makes the “explosion” towny. What makes it towny? Do you have evidence Chomps wouldnt do it as a wolf?

It’s always towny by default, you get entitlement to be townread as town. It can be faked, but you need to decide to fake it. By default its truthful

I don’t have evidence one way or another. Me not having evidence doesn’t mean that the correct move always is to disregard it. It could be, we don’t know his alignment, but we don’t know that

What I can try to do is consider how genuine he sounds, and consider how likely would decide to try doing this as mafia. I don’t really know, I haven’t started thinking about it too much yet

He didn’t seem that entitled to being townread to me. It just looked like he was trying to convince us to stop caring about his meta. It feels pretty easy to fake. If you have a good explanation for why it couldn’t be and a good case on somebody else then I’ll consider changing vote. But I think you’re just changing vote for the sake of changing it right now.
