a very common villager mindset imo for certain players is to express frustration at people not playing the game/communicating and at being confused. they are uninformed lol
you could argue that it could be them simply saying it for the sake of cred, but it doesnt come across that way to me therefore im more inclined to believe it simply just came from town hoping that we have a somewhat comprehensible game.

Setting these two messages under ten seconds apart, I think Chomps had been calling themselves suspicious for the fake wording trick. I’ve only really seen this behaviour from a town perspective; evil would probably panic and either ignore or play it off as an overhanded joke, which this doesn’t look like.

I already knew about this and I’ve historically done it as both prominent factions, it’s merely that I rand town way more often so such behaviours are associated with that alignment.

It’s dangerous when both happen at once. That’s when everybody decides someone is thread consensus town because they made long posts about strategy D1. Everybody sheeps the thread consensus and decides they’re town. They can coast and everybody decides they’re fine loosing to such good wolfplay. I hate the way it effects the game.

Well the wolves presumably had 24 hours to stay in their discord chat before the game started. That’s the usual procedure ime. The game starts earlier for them than for us. And this 24 hour requirement is a relatively new addition. Before games could start instantly. I do think that a wolf genuinely misreading a part of the wolf kit after discussing pre-game strategy with fellow wolves for 24 hours would be highly amusing to see. Or impressive if they made a believable lie about it, a bit bold

Fair enough. I can accept that train of thought. I’ll also try to be a bit more active than I was last game too. It might help me figure out who the wolves are better and who the neopolitan should check so I can suggest targets for them to check.

From misreading the OP? This rarely happened me. (usually I am the one who corrects others with the obvious info from the OP) I probably just assumed all of the mechanics are quite that simple I don’t need a thorough readthrough. (since both strongman and anti-claim are quite common hereabout.)
