up to this point my eyes were mostly glazing over leafia posts and i was going “mildly towny next”, but this post in particular kinda helped me get my thoughts in order i guess

she suddenly gets really self-assured, and it’s a pretty rare part of the slapfight for wolves to think of/replicate, like you can really feel her thinking jaiden couldn’t possibly have a legit argument because she knows she’s in the right

wolves fake town entitlement but the way this one was just slipped in there felt really real, and i feel like when wolves want to fake something like town entitlement, it has to be a lot more blunt and overt

funny enough it’s almost the exact same read i had on her in fam, so it better be right again or i might be a hack lol

I think Jaiden is almost always v both from how thread is treating them (specifically kanave/catbae/Magnus) and their early posting at Achro and demisha

Leafia I’m not fully convinced but leaning v for reasons I said earlier.

There we go. This appeals to my horribly off-kilter V/V indicator. Contrasting points of view which both make sense, which suggests Molly’s perspective is entirely natural.
…Wait a minute, that’s not right. How are these contrasting perspectives at all? Molly’s townreading Leafia, and Marl… townleans Leafia.

Regardless of whether this makes sense, it’s a turning point for Molly. I prompted her in the first place because she seemed like she was slanking, but this post is the first in a series of good posts. (She doesn’t have a lot of them, but still.)

i wasn’t really thinking about the opening, more the part after she throws down the gauntlet, where she’s giving lectures to leafia on why she’s wrong, it’s just a perspective that seems way off because you don’t bother convincing a wolf that she’s a wolf

(there’s less of it in jaiden’s posts than i thought the first time through but shhhh)

I had the same impression, but I wasn’t about to say that. I was going to dismiss this as NAI, but it could be a concession read, to show they aren’t all wrong as wolf. It is ultimately NAI, but it’s fun to think about.
