Are you done?

I wish I had more to say, I was hoping for more of a reaction or anything but I didn’t get it

I don’t really have any reads I want to emphasize at this point

I guess I think frost is town? That’s maybe the only thing I feel confident enough to state

beyond that I have no definition

I don’t believe this ever happened. I called Catbae and Kiiruma townlocked, and expressed a certain predisposition towards voting Ash’s voters.

All in all, while Frost did misconstrue certain events around earlier regarding the starting wagon, his proclivity towards aggression now is exactly the trait I was hoping to see on D1, and its absence attracted my initial vote. I guess he’s fine now.
VOTE: Ash

Bystander’s only actively suspicious behaviour was jumping the wagon last twilight towards non-contentious slots to “save” Leafia without any expressed townread on her, but then again it’s strange not to abide against drawing heat by doing nothing — this accomplished nothing for w!Bystander. Betting on v!Chomps publicly might’ve been a perspective slip regarding a mechanic she wasn’t sure about? Eh.
The indignant yell today didn’t feel especially sincere because nobody was voting her.

get beancat tomorrow. and marluna. and childe

We are looking for a backup.

If the backup is for Ash, don’t worry, we’re murdering em

If Ash is evil, what has anyone done to protect their slot? This doesn’t “feel” wrought with strife, which could mean evils aren’t self-assured either, but it is weird.

I think the most ‘protecting’ would make me be side-eyeing Frost.
Due to Frost trying to vote the voters on Ash’s wagon D1 instead of considering Ash himself

Dont be ridiculous, I am not saving Ash

The issue being that Frost’s singular point of suspicion was on Ash yesterday and nobody else, which doesn’t seem usual.

VOTE: Childe.
Keep the votes on Ash, this is just to diversify the wagons.

When the average person loses a hand, they will flinch. Once they are already behind, they will make smaller and smaller bets until they eventually drain themselves into nothingness, withering away like a torn-up flower. A coward who has earned themselves even the smallest deficit may as well be dead. This instinct will get you nowhere at this academy. A true gambler who is playing from behind is to be feared, not ignored. They are the most dangerous person at the table, as they must take big swings to get back ahead: after all, they have nothing to lose.

Another student has been eliminated from competition. Due to her gambling losses, Yuriko Nishinotouin became the laughingstock of the school, and it seems she could not bear the pressure. In the future, students who cannot handle losing are advised to see a school counselor or withdraw from the academy.

Ash has died.

Yuriko Nishinotouin: Life or Death

⚬ ♧ ⚬ ♢ ⚬ ♤ ⚬

Life or Death is the game played in the Traditional Culture Club, designed to allow you to maintain your position on the council and protect your students from threats. The game itself is much like roulette. Players select their target numbers on a board, then ten sword pieces are placed in a cup and scattered across the wheel. If the swords land on a player’s number, they win: seemingly a game of pure random chance. You, however, know how to manipulate the pieces and ensure the knives never reach a given target number, blocking whatever that opponent gambled.

Most bets on Life or Death are small. The money an average person loses to your game won’t be devastating to them: they come in, they play, the knives are tossed, and you win, say, fifty-one times out of a hundred, just enough that they leave with their pockets a little bit lighter. If, however, one of the sword pieces lands pointing downwards, stabbing into a player’s number, that player receives “death” – they lose thirty times the bet they placed, which will often be enough to completely ruin them. You can’t let this happen often, or rumor would spread, but with one judicious swipe, you’ll be able to take out a threat completely.

Ability: Each night, select a player (different to last night). All actions targeting them tonight will be blocked, including kills (strongwilled abilities may override this). You will learn how many players you block from performing actions.

Once per game, during the first half of the day phase, you may call “death”. A random player who you blocked last night will die at mid-day.

Gamble Won: Create a temporary neighborhood containing all of your target’s visitors. This neighborhood closes permanently at the end of the day phase.

⚬ ♧ ⚬ ♢ ⚬ ♤ ⚬

You win when the mafia reach parity with the remaining players and defeat any other players with opposing win conditions.

Your faction grants you access to the following abilities:

Factional Kill: Each night, the mafia may select a player to kill. This kill is optional and assigned, and it may be performed alongside other actions.

Factional Gamble Abilities: If a mafia member places a bet on a town-aligned player who is executed that day, they will receive a boosted night action. Mafia members will not receive boosted night actions from the execution of other mafia members. If multiple mafia members bet on the same player, the mafia must choose one player to receive the boost.

Night Two begins.

Feedback will be sent to all students shortly. Actions are due by 2024-11-22T20:00:00Z, two hours before classes begin at 2024-11-22T22:00:00Z.
