∘ ☙ Kakegurui: Compulsive Gambler Mafia -- GAME OVER ❧ ∘

Kiiruma’s acclaim is simply common sense, although the consideration about evil having a boosted gamble risk is an admission I hadn’t personally imagined yet. Going above and beyond is an appreciable factor.

Leafia already seems suspicious.

I’m especially a fan of the aforesaid flavour and formatting, it’s quite striking to the eye.

Tutuu’s acting like a baseline version of how he’d expect others to perceive them to normally act, if that makes sense? The lack of opening effort is distinguished from past evil games but I’d nonetheless advise a microscope at the moment. Tutuu and Leafia are both polarised so their alignments should be clear before the halfway mark passes.

Ash and Beancat are broadly unreadable at this juncture. It should lean town since neither cares to improve their early standing which is ordinary, but it doesn’t because it’s normal from them both to post early then return way later. Possibly preoccupied with other ventures.

Nobody else in the playerlist sticks out as somebody who should’ve been immediately vocal but wasn’t.

Also just a general PSA but when it comes to anticlaim, anticlaim is sometimes worse than death since it can really disrupt town’s ability to be able to overcome evil (E.G. In the Voting based game, where mafia were able to just straight up ruin executions).

Therefore, I implore you to avoid anticlaim in whatever way possible. Do not mention things about your character unless you think it is absolutely necessary to do so. If you have some sort of mechanical information try to think how to get it across without making things too obvious.

You’ve neglected and thrown aside our neighbourhood just to launch a desperardo attack upon the prospective enemy!

(This is not an earnest claim.)

My personal guess is that the anticlaim might operate akin to an ability thief, given how Umineko featured that as a core evil tenet to great effect but we don’t quite have enough players to suspect a consistent secondary kill. In any case, “just” a strongwill or “just” a ninja effect seems unlikely given its simplicity.

Rhea and Astand aren’t the same individuals, nevermind.

I presume there are some people here amongst us who genuinely enjoy the anime and thus would be able to pick up on things easier than others when it comes to flavour solving. Bare in mind that yes, flavour is NAI but this doesn’t mean that we can just claim it freely.

I for example am a big fan of Kakegurui, I’d say it’s for sure one of my favourites. So if I were evil I’d be able to pick up on things pretty easily since Kakegurui has a colourful cast but each have their own quirks and specialities. This is why I urge people to be careful.

Slight amendment: characters aren’t alignment indicative, but their distinctions are very much ability tailored. So for example, Chitose Inui could have a function to impose a consequence for failing a gamble (rigging it), as a random gesture on top of my head. Flavour claims can also be targeted by the anticlaim if the OP is any indication, so it definitely matters.

All I’ve seen of Kakegurui are the openings, so I’m gonna leave flavor stuff to you two.

Meanwhile I’ve found two. I’m just waiting for a bite on my hook before I reel them in.
Which isn’t a pun digging at Chomps.

So the meta on this is to instantly guess your first sus as non-town to make sure your guess is top 1/4 and then tunnel that person even if they start being a bit townier
