It is no secret that the kingdom is under some tension, especially after the coronation….
I believe there will be too much risk to allow the printing press to go to every citizen, and it could cause seed of lies, deceit and corruption if those writing for the press wish to turn the people against the king, or worse the ninth god, and use the papers to spread lies across the common folk.
If there are licences involved, we can keep the printing process full of trust and protection.

This is too radical of a change for an uncertain times like this. We must proceed slowly to ensure our kingdom isnt thrown into chaos.

It is a big change, that I agree, but as a Grandee I will admit, we do not hear about what is happening in the other regions very much, the same way I would guess you do not hear about the grandees very well.
I think if it opens to everyone, it could cause dangerous radicalization, like you are afraid of, but if we stand with option C, allowing those of nobility and of essence that can qualify for a license, could very much improve not only the king and thrones oversight and knowledge over all our regions, but also help strengthen our understanding of each other councilmen at these meetings.

(Also would much prefer it to be 48 hours personally, sometimes business will surprise me and I really enjoy the roleplay aspect of this game and would like more chances to do such🙏)
