…this sounds Bad (even by GIM standards)

Say, how is GIM even moderated?
What happens if “someone” posts an obviously broken role?

mainly because, if mafia were to rolecop this player - then there’s an incentive for each mafia to kill all the others

I think it’s per-the-rules considered gamethrowing to play for the win but against your current wincon (at least on this site outside of BOTF)
But the incentive still remains if you just want to win, which AFAIK most people do

well, IIRC Wazza says that broken or bad roles will be edited when they run GIM

What if the role is fundamentally broken?
Would it then be treated as Vanilla/Goon?

In the case the host thinks a role is irrepairably broken the common consensus I saw in past Grand idea games, that it will simply rerolled. (And removing that slot from the list.)

Or in one case, the host just flat out announced for which roles they won’t roll, even before the rand.

it would simply not be put into the game

Why, though?
I’m pretty sure Gim has a lot of insta-win roles with less effort behind them.
(With this, you still need to eliminate most of the mafia team, and you still need to stay alive.)

it’s not that it’s too powerful
it’s this:

why are you numbering them wrong. smh

i feel as though the host will ignore it anyways

I numbered them properly in Roman Numerals and in Japanese. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
