it was a lot of things

the one off the top of my head is that they were replacing affilate links so people who were sponsored by them didn’t get as much money as they should

also honey works with sellers, not buyers, to push codes that’ll be mutually beneficial to both honey and the corporation

also they’re like 99% stealing your data

I am 50% sure most sites “refuse cookies” option is only a placebo for users so they think they have the choice which info the site share with other companies.
