I know you’re joking, but I see some people who I otherwise agree with call some people they disagree with evil, and do the natural follow-up of “violence is justified against them”. Something that’s important to me is always trying to remember to not use dehumanizing language with any kind of sincerity because all people deserve some level of compassion and empathy. People who do not like trans people frequently label us with dehumanizing language as a way of creating an environment where violence against as not only acceptable but worth celebrating. It’s just one of those “this is a weapon of the enemy and we shall not use it” things I feel strongly about.
