@Hazardwaste @Magnus i have some fucking bozos asserting to me that oceania is the name of the continent and australia is not a continent name. australia is used to name the continent is my claim. i thought thats its used exclusively, apparently i was wrong and oceania is used too. but australia is still used to name the continent, is it not?

Well, I found differing opinions on this case.

On one side,
Technically Oceania isn’t a name of a continent, but a geographical region, since most of it isn’t lanmass, but ocean.

On the other hand.
Outside of the English-speaking world, Oceania is generally considered a continent, while Australia is regarded as its continental landmass.

So it’s probably depending on where you live.
