uploading large files over discord is something i just dont do at all personally. i have youtube for videos, google drive for large files. i dont use discord. the only utility i could see for myself is sharing meme videos
Come to think of it, I think you can upload large files into a cloud and then embed links over it on discord and it should work

of course. you should use google drive to store large files, discord isnt good for data storage. and yeah, post and pin the links

why is it necessary for you to be on discord?
if you are working on a project - why not use an alternative? slack, google docs?

idk about slack but google docs is awful to use as a project
theirs a ton of annoying orginization issues that discord solves

Because they’re a billionaire company, I think they are lying that the upload limit that is oh-so dearly affecting their wallet and I just want to post videos that are a little above 10MB with the convenience I used to without waiting for it to be finished to be compressed and might require more and screw it up.

i dont think that discord is dishonest about the cost being an issue. the underlined in blue is the PR line that you’re annoyed by, sure, but the underlined in red are all citing a financial concern
