I got my nieces a switch for Christmas years ago when they were younger, and day 1 they put the joycons on the wrong way and they were really hard to get off lol. I imagine it’s because the interface is probably harder to put on the wrong way, easier to realize that you’re doing so, and easier for a kid to deal with generally.
