like yeah yeah a british passport is an imperial core passport, it protects me from the worst of the violence and cruelty of border enforcement. but it’s not like it’s going to be easy to just get out of here.

IIRC Japan makes is extraordinarily hard for foreigners to immigrate there. I think you have to pass a language test at a pretty high level?

it’s all up in the air. i’m going to wait for things to settle, talk with Nora, and figure something out. i’d much prefer for us to unite in person under better circumstances than our countries slowly becoming unlivable for us, but, alas.

I plan on learning it if decide to go through with it. Couldnt live fully without it. Ive lived in the netherlands for 1 year without speaking dutch and it was miserable
