Zug do you know how connections works
YOU CANâT JUST PUT EVERYBODY LEFT OVER IN A RANDOM CATEGORY
i have not. its a very weird way of talking. the two sources i linked dont suggest clear as a clear synonym for plain
can you reword this sentence to make it sound good. âdont suggest clear as a plain synonym for plainâ. no it sounds weird
SINCE WHEN DOES ATLAS LIKE REAL ANALYSIS. I HAVENâT EVEN TAKEN REAL ANALYSIS
uh
I mean, I know youâre supposed to solve all the categories at once, because that avoids red herrings
and Iâm aware that making a category abitrary might break that
but uh
nya mewo purr
ok but you know about EPSILON and DELTA
the argument was already over once your counter argument was âextreme semanticsâ. there was nothing more to say. you bring up your first google search result as if im supposed to trust that and when i bring my first google search result its extreme semantics now
Just because you canât use a word as an exact substitute in every context doesnât mean itâs not a synonym. However you can still do that. âDonât suggest that clear plainly means the same thing as plainâ
you couldâve fit another plainly in hereâŚ
tutuu is plainly a WOLF because heâs POLARIZED
yaaaay square party
I said that because if you expand the google result it agrees with me. You were just saying âwell the google result I see is slightly differentâ. Extreme semantics
did you find one on discord yet
Youâre saying that because you donât remember hearing a word in a specific context before that the meaning doesnât exist. Essentially every single dictionary source disagrees and suggests âclearâ as a potential meaning for âplainâ. Thatâs very silly
All youâre doing is saying âthatâs weirdâ ânobody talks like thatâ âthat doesnât countâ over and over again
In response to somebody using the word like that On This Forum!
okay i have no idea what the current arguement is about but iâd argue plainly is significantly more âthis is clear and obviousâ than just âplainâ
âPlainlyâ is only used to mean specifically clear and obvious, âplainâ can be used in related-but-not-identical contexts of âunadornedâ, both still CAN mean clear and obvious
