Oh, yeah. That sounds annoying on multiple levels.

(Not to the point where people hate it though. If a role is strong -e.g., Alignment Cop-, then you just nerf it. You don’t avoid any games with that role like the plague.)

Personally I don’t like limited dead interaction because

  • I want to win badly, so I’d want to put a lot of effort into it
  • It is tiring to put effort in for the whole duration of a game
  • It feels like a waste of that effort if it doesn’t have a lot of impact
