I think so, yeah

Definitely in one the first episodes

I think Umbrella academy has a statisfying (although bittersweet) ending.

I wonā€™t spoil what happens with the characters, that was an emotional ending (for me at least), I donā€™t want to strip anyone from it, if they decide to watch the showā€¦

you should watch/read Higurashi

itā€™s not really a time travel story at all but itā€™s certainly a neighbor through the themes and emotional beats and it is fantastic

I was reading about faster-than-light travel recently and related concepts in special relativity, and itā€™s very mind-bending to wrap your head around that FTL travel being possible is sort of the same as time travel being possible. The weirder thing is to then realize that traveling at a ā€œsuperluminal speed isnā€™t possibleā€ has an asterisk which is ā€œon a macroscopic scaleā€ because weā€™ve observed subatomic particles doing it. Like these little microscopic warp bubbles crop up under certain conditions, and zip particles extremely short distances faster than light could travel it, but like that doesnā€™t cause causality issues for ~some reason. Anyway FTL on a macroscopic scale does not seem that promising which is heartbreaking on some level, buuuut there are constraints you can place on it that at least make it Not Time Travel in theory.

Edit: (The even more fucked up and mind bending thing is that thereā€™s no actual simultaneity or universal time scale. Time is only meaningful between inertial observers that are both local to each other and are not traveling at different relativistic velocities. Itā€™s so bizarre.)

Edit 2: (Oh yeah, photons travel at the ā€œspeed of lightā€ (speed of causality) because theyā€™re massless and therefore do not have inertia (even though they can transfer momentum upon impact, I couldnā€™t explain why), and because they do not have inertia, they do not have an inertial frame of reference and cannot be an observer. So, time is literally a meaningless construct to a photon. Like, if it could be an observer, it would simultaneously exist everywhere it would ever be all at once. Which is weird! Fucked up that these little guys are not exactly ageless, but quite literally timeless!)

no thatā€™s black mirror isnā€™t it

Pretty sure Twilight Zoneā€™s composer was Marcus Constant?
I donā€™t know who does the music for Black Mirror.

Do you guys think if I ever make a deal with a demon it will be something that benefits me massively at a minor inconvience (making the demon upset at their bad terms and conditions) or would I be tricked
