What does position-bound versus role-bound mean? Like what’s the distinction? Sorry if it’s in the rules. I’ll have to read more about that during my lunch break. Only reason I’m able to type a bit now is because the professor walked out to type up a schedule for our production.

The Visionary starts off Call to Arms! and Persuade abilities. If they die, the youngest member of the Blue Dragon inherits these abilities. These abilities are kept even upon becoming King. The Heroine has the lowest priority, and may multitask Persuade . These abilities are part of their flip, which means it can also be forged.

On Day 1, The Hand of Byzantium must choose a member to become The Arbiter’s Successor , granting them the following ability. This ability is part of their flip, which means it can also be forged.

Champion’s Succession (Passive) - If The Arbiter dies or changes classes, you will become the new Arbiter . Pass this onto the oldest non- Arbiter Hand of Byzantium member if you become King.

It doesn’t tell us anything and putting pressure on specifically the king doesn’t put the squeeze on the groupscum. They aren’t going to react by trying to defend the king because they do not have TMI on the kings role.

I assume you are talking about the groupscum here, because the King (if evil) would have no way of telling who their teammates are.

Yes, but again: That’s not “objectively the worst possible choice”.

If we vote the king out we’re in the same spot tommorow with the new king the evils get a kill we might potentially kill a teammate, we learn literally nothing about anyone else because evils and town alike can say the exact same thing about a slot they don’t know anything about (it might be evil so we should vote it!!)

It’s objectively the worst possible choice. even if they flipped wolf you couldn’t say literally anything about anyone that pushed it other than they probably shouldn’t be kinged “just in case”

Hm… carbonated doesn’t seem like they will be joining us any time soon based on their latest post, and Sayno has been non-existent. However, I feel like there are enough posts from the other four players to form an opinion?

To elaborate on my thoughts, it seems like the King has higher odds of being good, yes? The King also has some helpful abilities for us. I don’t think I want to take the chance that we kill off one of our strongest assets.

For one, MerpyDerpy sees king as valuable asset, you think town usually says that from experience? (MerpyDerpy and Daeron I mean)

Sounds about right. This makes me worry a bit though; we haven’t heard much from Daeron, so him not looking good makes me see him more as a puppet king who’s sole feature is existing.

They’ll kill someone tonight with absolutely no leads because we spent the day tunnel visioning the king. Investigatives exist, but they also have no leads and it’ll be pot luck if they hit anything if we decide that just killing the king is a good idea.
