Like hello there’s like 6 of these NK’s

Huh it’s weird how that game had a ‘Draw’ and NKs but this one has a Town stomp and no NKs.
Weird how that works ngl

Oh and the conversion mechanic wasn’t just terrible.

I’m basically saying solving for 1 of 6 NK’s being in the game when like idk 2 or 3 of these bypass death immunity and/or healing and others clean logs it’s just too much on top of everything else

Maybe like 3 NK’s to solve between at best all doing different things sure but you know, only 3 of them so it’s not literally impossible to figure out

I’m ok with like 3 NKs or whatever but this game proves why it needs NKs and a good conversion mechanic.

Not just buff town by removing NKs, buff town by screwing the conversion mechanics and buff town by just having all the confirmation under the sun but it’s ok evils because the heroine got a slight buff.

and Ik they’re an NK but like I really don’t think an NK should just have free immunity bypassing for no reason because roles having strongmans for literally no reason. Like they should have a strongman so they can deal with whatever faction they need to but it shouldn’t be for free

Like this is literally just free

I know I compare it to TOL the game a lot but like it’s mirroring it so there we have it

Reaper/Possessor/Sorc all had different weaknesses and strengths, reaper could bypass immunities by using souls but it was the only NK that could do it

I mean yeah I guess sorc blew people up but they could still be healed, and poss jump/generic reaper attack bypassed healing but not death immunity

Like what’s the point in even having a distinction between healing/generic death immunity if every role in this game just bypasses both anyway, for bleed healing? that’s about it

Oh mate it compare it to ToL too because it’s what it’s based off.
And this here is just ToL but town wins.

It’s a forum game so it’s different in all the ways that matter and obviously I don’t know design that well but I do know that in a mechanic-heavy game having a role that just says fuck you to the mechanics despite you using them well and being an NK at the same time is just very irritating

Except this game where the ‘buff’ that Heroine got doesn’t even let them bypass both lol

I’m fine with that because it’s their generic attack and their generic attack bypassing both would be insanely stupid

It’s their generic attack but non-consecutive to be fair.
Since they can’t use the same buff 2x in a row.

It’s still somewhat silly to have the generic attack bypass either/or because of what might or might not be in the game - if there are more healers than “death immune” granting roles for example then healers later on will become redundant purely because the heroine doesn’t care about them any more

You did say you don’t like just everything for free.
Knowing it’s non-consecutive is already a decent price considering the circumstance they’re in

I think about it in the sense of would I be happy to learn I got screwed over because of it

Take this as an example

I misplayed by…visiting someone because they used an ability they can effectively spam 3 times in the game?

so if I’m a TP and I go on someone I want to protect because I want to protect them and the NK does the same thing my reward is dying with them through no fault of my own, which feels kinda lame at best and like “wtf why” at worst

Yeah that’s fair.
I can understand being against that.

And as an example this game, imagine I’m again, a TP and I protect someone but my protection type gets bypassed and I get cheated out of a heal because the heroine just guessed which healer type was going to be on a person and killed them it’s just like ok cool I guess

because lets face it objectively the best immunity to bypass is a healing immunity because healers generally speaking, have their entire identity being “healers” so if they can’t do that they can’t do anything. and framing them by killing people they should be healing is more effective than assuming the king is good and trying to bypass DI

Maybe that’s just how FM works though but you know if you’re in a role madness like this one which is mech-heavy I want my role to actually have impact I think everyone wants that

though tbf at least when invests get screwed over they can still sus stuff out from that, like if they got bad info at least they can still use it in a way
