I think it should be starting 2 evils and they pick a convert themselves starting with a convert kinda just doesn’t feel right Idk how to explain it but like I’d rather have the choice of convert rather than being forced to play 3 nights with one that I didn’t want

I’m selling the world myself I’m the master chef of self sacrifice in these games

I do it because it’s what I’d want others to do for me, I practice what I preach or whatever.

People don’t I don’t expect people to but being a hyopocrite wouldn’t help my case and I like being reputable

I feel like there just shouldn’t be the caveat of ‘wolves can’t convert following a wolf death’ since it makes it a tighter and more enjoyable game. Like think about ToL (Where FoL and all is based off) it certainly doesn’t disable conversion if town strikes gold :stuck_out_tongue:

We don’t even have a NK or anything. This is ToL but just much much better for town.

For real though I have no idea how people look at me and think I’d act this way if I was evil and losing I actively try and sell the world where I die before anyone else and dont’ even try and push the neutral whose goal is to kill me (I’d do this as EK)

instead I actively try to get them to win meaning I die in the process (something that’s bad if I’m a lost wolf here) the only benefit if i’m evil is that there’s no more kings but like just living also satisfies that and keeps me alive so ???

It is truly at times like these that I realise just how paranoid people can be and it is amusing

but it’s also time for a nap

The neuts are relatively harmless to town.
There’s only 1-2 neuts anyway, none of which are NK.
And the conversion mechanics really just suck for evil.
The amount of town confirmation is inane in the current game.

I’m glad to be winning it but at the same time, this just feels so bleh.

The one thing I can recognise is we caught onto evils fairly quickly.
But like that’s rewarding enough for us to get a kill on an evil. We certainly don’t need “And you can’t expand your ranks” added onto the reward.

2 day cooldown and an Nk like in the base game would be fine. I don’t like NK’s that are rediculously overpowered they’re borderline unfun to play against. The NK’s in the last game were kinda in the boat of “really unfun to play against” I mean I remember demon or something just being stupid and lich forces you to play bad and kill people you think are town just in case they’re the phylactery

Conversion mechanics are bad enough when there’s an NK also to worry about basically

But I also want psycho king in this so I want an NK that doesn’t make me want to shoot myself trying to find it. Something like sorcerer that if you do catch it, it’s got a way out but it’s not uber-obnoxious

Oh I agree that the NKs should be better but they also should just be there.
The fact that there’s no conversion upon deaths and no NKs is what’s causing us to have this mech locked situation instead of something more interesting and fun

Huh it’s weird how that game had a ‘Draw’ and NKs but this one has a Town stomp and no NKs.
Weird how that works ngl

Oh and the conversion mechanic wasn’t just terrible.

I’m basically saying solving for 1 of 6 NK’s being in the game when like idk 2 or 3 of these bypass death immunity and/or healing and others clean logs it’s just too much on top of everything else

Maybe like 3 NK’s to solve between at best all doing different things sure but you know, only 3 of them so it’s not literally impossible to figure out

I’m ok with like 3 NKs or whatever but this game proves why it needs NKs and a good conversion mechanic.

Not just buff town by removing NKs, buff town by screwing the conversion mechanics and buff town by just having all the confirmation under the sun but it’s ok evils because the heroine got a slight buff.

and Ik they’re an NK but like I really don’t think an NK should just have free immunity bypassing for no reason because roles having strongmans for literally no reason. Like they should have a strongman so they can deal with whatever faction they need to but it shouldn’t be for free

I know I compare it to TOL the game a lot but like it’s mirroring it so there we have it

Reaper/Possessor/Sorc all had different weaknesses and strengths, reaper could bypass immunities by using souls but it was the only NK that could do it

I mean yeah I guess sorc blew people up but they could still be healed, and poss jump/generic reaper attack bypassed healing but not death immunity

Like what’s the point in even having a distinction between healing/generic death immunity if every role in this game just bypasses both anyway, for bleed healing? that’s about it

Oh mate it compare it to ToL too because it’s what it’s based off.
And this here is just ToL but town wins.

It’s a forum game so it’s different in all the ways that matter and obviously I don’t know design that well but I do know that in a mechanic-heavy game having a role that just says fuck you to the mechanics despite you using them well and being an NK at the same time is just very irritating
