I think for an extra ability it’s possible the assassin gained some sort of tracker ability to assist with hiding and had claimed observer. The reaction they had about marcoh going to the prince felt genuine enough that they most likely did see that happen but their defense of Samarie was fairly strong.

It’s important to note Karin still cannot be converted thanks to this double kill. Wish is 7 mana, killing anything would require atleast 3

Technically but you’d have to have been conved on the same night the wish went through so it’s a limited window
And your only killing ability would have been fireball, with a 50% chance to land, and spreads to the persons neighbours (their starting ones, living or dead), so killing pav or marina makes little sense with that ability.
