The odds of being randomly picked as king are much lower than making an effort to step up to the plate. Though I admit you’re probably right on the part where you say that pushing for king is most likely not as scummy as I believe it to be that won’t make how I feel about it magically go away.

I like your next post though. That makes two posts I like despite what I think which indicates I am in fact wrong and reading too much into one specific thing. Alright Kaiser you’ve got me, for now. VOTE: Nashrash

okay well while searching for what pinged me didn’t work I did find something really weird

these posts
and these posts

are extremely tonally different
if this hadn’t been a mid-day change I’d say they were possessed
not sure what to make of this but it definitely isn’t townie

id say if i had to choose one of these sets to be faked I’d choose the first one tho

nvm found it lmao
this is just dumb
even if it WAS constructed (which, I’ll admit, it does kind of feel constructed)
i don’t think it’s particularly scummy?
you’d have to say the rest of the post was constructed to conclude that it’s scummy
I’d totally add a nglngl to that post if i was making it, depending on my mood
so
(… what does SoC mean?)

now whether or not THIS is scummy is another matter but I think Kaiser is smart enough to know what they’re talking about here
given the. analysis of word choice

Yeah but a wolf becoming king is not the most likely outcome, it’s not their win condition even if it’s a nicety for them and the town king will not always use their power wisely. It also has to be a risk to be overt as wolf for the very same reasons you’re using to call it scummy, otherwise it doesn’t make sense for you to call it scummy to begin with. Can wolves try to overextend and make it happen? Yes, but I’d say they’d need a decent plan, so while it’s worth keeping in mind I wouldn’t expect that it’ll happen in any individual game.

Town becoming the first king IS the most likely outcome assuming we’re not in some hell setup, we can be pretty damn sure a wolf would use that power to further an agenda that hurts town, and the risk a town takes by being overt involves others distorting the facts or acting in bad faith, which is not the kind of risk that should ever stop anyone from doing something, it’s imaginary. Pushing for a known town to be king which at this stage is almost always just going to be yourself, is exactly what town should be doing, I’d expect it to happen both in any individual game and in EVERY individual game.

I don’t want what you feel about me to go away I want to know if you’re town or not! You could’ve just said it was a gut read and left it at that but you chose to give reasons and I’m finding pretty serious problems with those reasons

Alright, my main dislike for Pav’s posting comes from their large focus on the whole King situation, especially the election in itself, they want to be King but make no other point or reason on why they should be King, they just speak about it and never bring it back up.

At least in my case I wasn’t in the thread to make a genuine reason on why I should be King, but Pav was in the thread for a larger amount of time only to advocate for someone who they townread quite quickly to be king with no other explanation for it, not to mention moments before this they seemed quite unsure on their townread on them, just slapped them in there and advocated for them to be King.

I’ve mostly put my vote on them because I want to focus pressure onto them, Pav hasn’t contributed a lot in their higher amount of posts than the rest of the thread, (at least this was my thought process at the time).

@Pav I’d like more of an explanation on your Nashrah and Ossa reads if you don’t mind, I’d like to get a bit more in your mind.

What’s so funny about them? Also, being funny isn’t hard to do regardless of alignment. I’d even go so far as to say that it’s a bit more likely to come from a wolf because they don’t have to do any real solving, so they use humor to fill in that gap and try to hide the fact that they aren’t truly trying to solve the game.

This post is raising a red flag for me honestly. It feels like Kaiser is just slapping a townread on people and trying to justify it using nonai behavior. I’m fine with a vote here. VOTE: Kaiser

This gives me Hello my fellow humans vibes.

No offense taken and it’s the main reason I wanted to be king. So I can’t be converted.

Feels like a politician using a lot of words to say nothing.

By looking villagery.

What the heck are you even trying to get at here?

Read the OP. All roles regardless of their alignment keep their abilities once kinged.

I made like two posts about it at the beginning of the day and never again, and my justification for it was that my pfp stood out. If it wasn’t clear enough, that post was a joke, I was mostly indifferent about wanting to be crowned.

My “unsureness” there mostly came from the way I wrote that post, which I had intended to be asking for other people’s thoughts on crowning Osaa. I never really expressed the townread on Osaa before but I was always fairly confident on it.

I townread (or in that post’s case, also foolread) Nashrah because right away they’ve come into thread with the most aggravating typing style and pushes I’ve actually seen, and honestly i do not think that this behavior is something a true full-on wolf does immediately.

Osaa on the other hand I townread because their claim was so incredibly bold and outrageous that I just can’t envision a scum role would do it. Especially a wolf who knows that they have an anticlaim strongman. And ngl, since I have a prettty good guess on who they are, that just further cements my townread since ive never seen the player in question do it as a wolf. And before you tell me “but didn’t you say not to alt-spec” I think this can count as an exception.
