There is no “I am noble I did X last night so I am proven GK let me step” or an evil scrambling to get mastermind king immediately which any evil who just has their abilities and is king is super powerful - that kind of power spike should be earned but stepping D2 and just saying “I’m a good king” would probably be enough to get you there

50 post D1

That is not a bad idea tbh.

I don’t agree that this dynamic is particularly bad
But it definitely isn’t served by short d1

valid actually

it was always meant as a check in day early FoL

Well, as I say, if you’re an evil getting king it shouldn’t be free, but since the king vote is forced and nobody has anything else to go by all you have to do to make yourself a candidate is claim you’re a good choice and get your allies to vote you and you’re already +3 ahead of everyone else

I want to make it clear that I appreciate any feedback
It’s always useful information to consider since this is a fun setup rather than a ruthlessly optimized for specific ideas to be accomplished one

It’s not that it’s neccessarily bad but it enables evils to get ahead for basically free if they so choose, and once they step as king they no longer have to claim because a king who is good would not be doing anything

actually
let me see what that cult mafia game by psycho did

cuz that one had a similar VFT mechanic

Also it happened this game. Evil with royal blood most likely king voted themselves and got maaaaaybe 1 other vote from a BD or a random voter and that’s +4 votes which is more than enough to beat anyone else who is trying to go for king because most roles this game that had royal blood do not want to step d2

I’m talking about the bastard here ofc

I should add bd roles that want to step immediately
