Wait. Convert can turn into assassin? Isn’t assassin always a starting evil?
When the original mastermind dies, the starting assassin will turn into the second mastermind, this passive is one-use so it is correct that executing the mastermind will stop the unseen from getting more members.
The difference is that the player will be alive with the mastermind remaining, but are lost to blue dragon either way.
And since the original starting assassin or moon spirit is not executed or killed, the convert will likely also turned into the assassin instead.
If we do execute the assassin, the mastermind can gain factional attack but at that point they will rather convert and need a presence in the day phrase.

The thing that scares me a bit is that it isn’t even guaranteed that there was a starting assassin. Just very likely. I will say this though. If someone was converted last night, then John is the most likely one to be that convert. So…VOTE: John

I don’t know if I think john is the best kill for today or not and I’d rather we not hammer him. Pressure is good but let the man defend himself. It could easily be the prince for all we know.

Same here.
Personally if they did convert last night which if I understand the rules correctly they definately did, I imagine it would be Nevermore or Sabrina who both came out looking towniest yesterday (I would say I am third but I know I am not converted and do not have much presence).
This is pointless however as we should just shoot for the new mastermind not the convert.

Agreed. Anyone voting for John now will be treated as a Mastermind claim and treated accordingly.
How does that work.
If people are planning a majority against me then. Is there a reason to hide myself anymore? Since preventing miss exe and having more information in town seen something good to work with.
