I don’t think we should vote John today based off of their claim. Seeing as no one else in POE even claimed I don’t know why we would hang the one person who claimed and also gave information that, while it could have been guessed, is technically only available to Princess?

How was I supposed to know that the wolves would kill Gravedigger? I’m not a mindreader. What would have happened if I had done that and the wolves hadn’t killed Gravedigger though? I would’ve been the next one executed due to not knowing Gravedigger’s class. I also said several times that I’d be checking Gravedigger. So the blunder isn’t my fault. Well, not entirely anyway. The only blunder on my part was announcing who I’d be checking.

I still dont like their just insta “I visited Widow” when no one asked lol. If i would devils advocate however, this is probably true tho. if she didnt have and she blurted it out as she did with someone on her she would have just trapped herself in a lie right?
It can both be true, and an evil player, It’s possible they have some sort of multitaskable night ability that lets them both provably visit, but also be killing (or they are the convert, still works!)
If we assume the assassin is (naturally) the oldest member of the unseen following my logic from earlier, then technically by promoting to mastermind they have “changed their role”

I guess this largely hinges on the fact that I’m calling the assassin the oldest member but it’s entirely possible that if they started with a convert, the assassin and the mastermind that they were asked “hey who do you want to give MM to if you die” and they chose the convert first
I would assume it will go to the role under “starting unseen” and not convert… we dont even know if they started with 3.

The Fear and Hunger game for example was a 2 player starting unseen team
Luckily I don’t think this really changes a whole lot in terms of where we’re looking for an evil within the PoE we have but it recontextualises some of these “I visited so therefore I am good” claims we’ve been getting - if the kill is “generic factional” then it’s entirely possible that the visit was just the ability the assassin → mastermind has that they’re using to get cleared while the factional is being carried out by the convertee
