Iām excited about the setup because I really think itās cool. Like itās hard to give useful strategic advice beyond ādo not claim unless you absolutely have toā for town PRs, and āyou should try to powerwolf and prioritize hunting town PRsā for the wolves which is so generic as to be almost useless.
I canāt even tell you if itās correct to claim your parity or saves as a doctor if you are forced to claim. Like assuming either the other doctor is alive and not outed, or died without being outed first, claiming your parity loses town utility because wolves know if they have to block you or not. And you canāt just not claim parity but claim checks because saves frequently imply parity. Any odd day you can claim saves in most circumstances assuming none of your saves died during the night, and if no KP was shown itās okay (because youāre giving a green check essentially), but it usually depends on the game context. Thereās a complication here though where if you try to say its correct to give saves on odd days, thereās still the situation where a save has died in the night. You would reveal parity in that world I think always which means thereās still incentive to be ambiguous about saves even on odd days.
This means that wolves can fake claim doctor, and plausibly hide parity and saves. A real doctor could have reasons to do so. This means that both docs could be alive, and a wolf doesnāt have to open themselves up to a cc. The tracker canāt really disambiguate either because even if they waste two cycles of checks, the claimed doc could have been plausibly role blocked.
Iām gushing because I think all of that is neat. Itās almost inevitable that the meta will be to force parity and saves anyway because villagers are weak-willed cowards who will refuse to play the claim evaluation minigame and just settle for marginally less boring mountainous, and just pray either the Vigi is dead or the other doc gets a save to claw back the KP. HOWEVER, I will dream of a better world until then.

Itās less wolf-sided than it seems. That seems to be a common initial impression, but the village PR suite is borderline oppressive. Itās somewhat sensitive to a heavily town-sided rand with highly competent PRs where middling wolves get blown out. Like I understand itās quals, but the wolf decision-making at night is much more complicated than it may look.

the town PRs in this can like actually do things more than 20% of the time which is gonna cause some situations where town just crushes it with the mech
