1. I think this is a towny thought, it seems like a bold assumption to me.
2. Not sure how messed up this thing is but, I think the “well now i’m curious” was a towny thing to say. On top of that I don’t think wolves would be as so blunt as to say “also you hit the nail on the head there”.
3. Arctic’s sassiness here gave a town vibe okay?

fun question! there was a period shortly after S7 of champs where i felt really burned out from mafia in general and realized that it was something i was doing out of obligation more than actual enjoyment. i recently regained my love for mafia, and it was by establishing a very simple rule:

if i’m not having fun, then i stop playing.

that might sound like a no-brainer to some people, but for me, it was a pretty big revelation when i realized that if i wasn’t enjoying myself in a game, i could just leave . that doesn’t mean that i replace out, but it does mean that if i’m finding myself stressed out by a game, i give myself permission to leave the thread and stop thinking about it for as long as i feel comfortable with, whether that be 2 hours or 24 hours

in short, i try to think of mafia games in terms of how i can maximize my personal fun. when i take the pressure off of myself to Try Hard and prove myself as a Good Player, i find that i naturally play better and have a lot more fun doing it at the same time

i’m not really sure if anyone else would find this insightful, but following that principle has been very useful for me to maintain my motivation and get as much fun out of the games i play as possible

really took this to heart at the beginning of this year and I think trying to internalize this has helped my relationship with the game
