It was a rainy night in that building, the one where Jake set up his sickening game. Twenty-Two players kidnapped, and only one would escape. As he brought out his bolt cutters to finish off the last contestants, Zone rushed to his side and informed him of something.

“Seth… He’s still alive.”

“What?”

“He managed to break free. He’s coming up here now. He’s going to-”

“Hush. I’ll calm him down. We need a winner for this game, anyway,”

Snip. Crash. Snip. Crash. GGhana, Wazza, Jane, and a weight all fell to their deaths. Seconds later, Isolde came in with a vengeance.

“Good news Seth, you’ve won.”

“I… What?”

“As it turns out, my production assistant miscounted something, and you have come out the winner. Here, take this Flare. We need to leave before this building collapses.”

Jake tossed him a Flare and a lighter, then lit Zone’s and his own Flares. They needed to get going soon before the building collapsed on itself.
