Yeah there is, warded is pretty safe because it will prevent a status added to you and there’s mostly negative ones anyways.
I doubt that the people who were complaining about the amount of items would see that anything of an improvement.
People thinking this game will be anything like previous minority rule game didn’t read the OP clearly. (to be fair, I am part of these people as well.) But since it was in the OP from the beginning I have no right of complaining.
Do I think the host made an unreasonable choice?
Yes. I definitely wouldn’t have made this large of an item list myself, if I hosted this game.
Do I think it is no more a minority rule game?
No.
It is the same game.
Obviously because of this “change” (which I want to highlight, that it was never set in stone in previous minority rule games.)
Players need a different mindset, than in previous games. Which I don’t see as a negatív effect.

Cavern’s an obvious pick, wouldn’t you say? Possibly skipping a turn, it isn’t amazing but it’s still good, but only if nobody else chooses it. So nobody talks about it, everyone chooses Cavern and they all die. It happened last time with Worship, I think it’s happening again here.

The cavern effect would apply to you both, wouldn’t it? So you’d both skip a turn.
