My friends and I would play mafia.gg just, like, as an activity for fun, and I would tryhard it SO BAD and someone was eventually like. “May I’m sorry I don’t like mafia.gg you make me feel dumb” and then we never played it again

I was the KING of mafia.gg it was such an ego boost every time. Which is presumably why everyone else didn’t like it. And then I didn’t think about mafia again ever for years afterward

To be clear to the audience here I do enjoy mafia but I enjoy it because it’s a genuine puzzle and challenge to figure out. I enjoy it because it’s not easy. Mafia.gg with friends I enjoyed because I won all the time and rarely had much trouble figuring things out. Forum mafia is fun in the way sudoku or a puzzle is fun, not in the way that, I dunno, Mario Kart is.
